We are going out of town for a few days. The weather is going to be in the 20’s overnight. We will probably have 50 eggs by then that have been “refrigerated” outside for a few days. Are they ok to keep and should they go to the fridge instead of our usual countertop storage? I guess worst case I can make sure they aren’t cracked and make them some scrambled eggs. 🤣. Thanks in advance.

Any fairly clean, undamaged eggs should be fine in fridge for sure, might be fine on counter too as long as it's not warm enough in the house to cause condensation to form on the eggs.

I’ll watch for condensate on the shells. The house is usually right at 70 F. Thanks for the info

Or you could do what I did with nine mixed bantam eggs after an overnight trip back on December 4th... a sweet little momma hen just hatched six of them beginning on Christmas Day which may have been my best present ever.
