Winter molt???

My brabanter is in a full molt right now. She has lost lots of feathers & stopped laying too! She is fine otherwise.

Ive never had a hen do a full molt in winter...
Is this normal?
Do i need to do anything special for her?

We have been in low to mid 30's at night. I have 16 chickens and they bunch up together at night. I know that helps, but is that enough to keep her warm?

She seems to be uneffected by it, but im stressing!

Winter molts happen. Generally such birds refeather in a hurry. Keep her dry and well fed, and she should be fine.

Thank you so much for calming my anxiety! I had a feeling she was going into a molt. Her feathers felt stiff, drab & ragged while the other girls feathers are super soft & shiny. I thought either a molt or sickness coming on. So glad it is just molt!
