Winter Quilt Block Swap 2013

So glad they have arrived! It's always a worrying time when they are in transit!
We are so lucky, we live on our own in the middle of fields. The village which is a mile and a half away has only 350 people living in it, but we are only 8 miles from The city of Lincoln. We have lots of barn owls here- they are very rare in the uk but we usually see 3 between here and the top of the lane if we go out near dusk or dawn.

Hi Marty and everyone,

Further to Rosie's note above:
The city of Lincoln has a population of 93,100 so is a very, very small city and its pretty well the biggest thing we've got in Lincolnshire. Its a very old city, the romans were here and there are quite a lot of medieval buildings still. The cathedral is magnificent. Have a look at Lincoln, England on Wickipedia. There is lots of info and some good pictures and links to attractions. I'm trying to encourage you all to come and visit us over here one day!

I wasn't sure if you meant our blocks had arrived from the UK yet.

Happy Sunday,

Mary

I won't tell anyone, but can we call her a raisin then?

I'm mailing tomorrow. Marty, let me know if your address has changed.

So sorry to be late. I'm still bronchial and not doing all that hot.

We've got more cattle than people out here. I don't live in a city or town at all. The closest town is about 1,000 people. We are so far out that the United States postal service doesn't come to us. I have to drive 40 minutes to do my mail in person. We have German, Polish, or Spanish on signs as well as English. It depends where you are.
