Hey all! Just want feedback on my coop! Me and my husband built one ourselves and just want confirmation that it is all good for winter!

I strongly suggest putting hardware cloth over the large fencing you used if you haven't already. Also, when it starts to get cold a tarp wrapped around the north facing side will help block the wind. What are the dimensions and how many birds?

I am going to have 3 Welsummers in there in a few weeks. and it is 5w x 6L x 7H

Agree that you need hardware cloth instead.

Where are you located? The metal siding will be very cold in the winter, especially given that it doesn't have plywood underneath. I strongly recommend putting plywood under any metal roofing, at the very least, otherwise you'll get condensation in the winter and it'll drip down on the birds. It's also not clear what your ventilation is going to look like so it's hard to say how "winter ready" this will be.
