HI we have 45 baby chicks that are around 5/6 days. We are in a winter storm and there's a chance our power might go out. Any suggestions on what i should do if that happens?

Firstly, that's a lot of chicks so if in a smaller area can keep themselves warmer.
Any means to boil water or heat bricks like a wood stove etc.?
Access to a generator?

Yes, heat water on a gas range or wood stove and give them several jars or bottles full of warm water to huddle with, keep it warm by replacing the bottles with fresh warm ones from time to time. Some have suggested putting a sock or some other fabric around the bottle to prevent direct contact.

It just went off. We don't have a generator but the room they're in is very warm so while we decide what to do they should be okay. Hopefully they'll keep themselves warm for a few minutes

It's back on now.. All the little chicks are good :)
