Wire Wrap and Weave Jewelry

Pics
OK latest work... Thank you WV for the lovely Lampwork beads to work with....

I am just starting with these... I am trying to shift my mind set to smaller more petite offereings... Had to resort to two pairs of glasses... and WONT be working in Jewelrs Bronze for such fine work. Its supposed to be half hard but it feals harder than that my fingers are aching like they did when I started guitar lessons.

So if you want pure metal rather than craft metal ist either copper or silver filled.

Ooooooh!! Verrrry pretttttty!! :love

To be honest I didnt like the black and yellow at first it was my first... But now that I look at it I have some strategies for future projects.

I do love the look of the greeen... I need some bicones rather than rotells... Bicones are more pointy on each end where the wire goes through... Shinier... Rotells are more rounded and less sparkly...

Have lots of the rotells.... and seed and non faceted seed beads... Need to take inventory so catalogue what I do have

I am waiting for a delivery of stainless wire.... for making ear loops... I hate the store bought ones... I can make them out of the materials I have but I KNOW there are a few that are allergic to copper and nickle

these are earring sized beads.... some dont have pierced ears ... I can do ear cuffs as well.

I like the way you wrap, so that the stone or bead still shines through. Many wrappers obscure their objects with so much wire.
I have seen that.... It becomes the artists expression in wire... The stone could be just a place holder.

No It has to be an emphasis as well as it being a good medium for holding on to the stone... I have tried the style you spoke about... But honestly the stone has to come first be shown off complemented.... and if I can express myself in the process all the better...

matter of fact I have some tutorials in pdf form for some of that heavy on the Weave work.... some of her best peices ONLY used stones for emphasis...

for example I love this gals work she is a wire artist.... If I were to do this I would choose to do the style where there are only a few accents
