Wire Wrap and Weave Jewelry

Ok Back is making my legs numb just on the surface thank goodness. And it comes and goes. Afraid to walk around even with my walker at the house.

So I bought some more wire and started practice pieces. Been binge watching a few new wire wrappers on YouTube God some ideas so am moving forward.

I invested in some Dead Soft Sterling silver and some Gem Settings. Plus experimenting with some a Russian Designers weaves. All my stones are packed So I ordered a few more Laboridite from India some Pidgeon Blood from Africa and some Ethiopian Opal.

The opal came in and Boy was it tiny. The stones are lovely if you have a magnifier. They drew me in on price... Sigh. But I have a customer right now that wants a fine delicate Ring I have to find a Bezel set for the stone. Opals are delicate and need room to breathe. So I have to do a lot of research to find the best option.

Got to go the pain killers are working for now.

That's never fun when you have issues that make body parts numb...

I keep seeing really cool looking ancient coils and fossils and thinking about how cool it would be to get one and have you wire wrap it for a necklace. You know how to let the piece shine though the wire wrap.

I'm so sorry to hear you are in such discomfort!

Am getting it sorted hopefully the Xrays will allow my Chiropractor to give me a hand... No pun intended.

I am also seeing a Pain management Doc at UCSD. Hopefully he will allow me to give Canibus a try. If not something other than OTC meds ... I am currently taking four tylenol plus two alieve three times a day and four tylenol between. I know i am way overdosing on those but they help me function. Oh and I found that leg cramp medicine over the counter is helping with back spasms... Real or Psychosomatic I don't care.

I am listening to my bod and adjusting accordingly which helps as well. I have done that all my life.

But I want to Get help with this I can no longer do it on my own.

Oh yeah I love doing found objects. Fossels even beach glass from Bali (friend went there and found it and brought it home.)

My son has meteor glass on his rear view mirror woven into a sun catcher of sorts. I think I have a picture of it on the site.

If I find something that doesn't cost an absolute fortune and speaks to me (sadly the 2 don't seem to go together often) I'll be sure to get it and get with you to get it wrapped.

We have found some sanity in Michigan and cannabis products are now legal here, and increasingly easier for sufferers to get hold of. Hope your doctor is willing to get it for you by prescription.

I tried to get my Mom to try it for nausea when she was having Chemo, but she said a big NO to dangerous illegal drugs! (even though legal, and certainly less toxic than her chemo meds )

Have you tried any of the CBD products? Since they don't have THC they are legal everywhere without needing permission. I have to be careful because they can have TRACE amounts of THC and as it builds up in fatty tissue I COULD potentially build up enough to fail a drug test at work, but as you don't work (I don't believe) and presumably aren't subject to random drug tests, there would be nothing to lose.

We have a CBD + Essential oil blend that I dilute in coconut oil and use on my husbands back and knees when they get bad and it does help some. It seems to knock my migraines out pretty quick as well, and the essential oil is just citrus oils (mostly orange oil) so it's not those that are helping.

I've been stocking up Petoskey stone pendants, a local family finds and polishes then up, and sells them at the local farmers market. Some of them would be very nice wrapped.
