Wireless Cam - not SD Trail Cam

After my recent incident with someone letting my birds out resulting in 3 of them loosing a lot of feathers and some minor wounds, I know I need a Game/Trail Cam.
But I don't want a traditional one with SD card. I want to be able to monitor it on my phone because I also have problems with teenagers in my neighborhood jumping in my pool and on my trampoline when I'm not home. While I was away over the weekend someone opened the run and let my birds out. I want to be alerted immediately if something like this happens again so I can call the authorities.
I've searched the cam forums here and only found one from 2015 that had some info.
Can anyone direct me to a more recent post about wireless cameras? or tell me about some good ones?
I have Verizon as a carrier and most I've found use AT&T.
Please recommend some good wireless trail cam's - good resolution, MP, trigger time, etc. I'm ok with paying a monthly fee for access.

Have you looked at Ring? They have camera's with speakers so you can yell at trespassers LOL And they alert you on your mobile device when motion is detected.

You might check out something like Blink XT

I have two of these and they seem to work well...

No wiring, no subscription or fees... they just run off of batteries and use your WiFi and send alerts to your phone... and you can then watch a short video of what the camera caught... you can also watch live via your phone...

If you’re wanting something for close to the house ( meaning close to the WiFi router) this will work... but if you’re looking for something for further away it might not

Note that there are similar camera like this... so you might do some searching to see how they compare too.

Here is a cellular trail cam. I saw the video a while ago and it looked pretty good. Probably costs a ton though.

I've been using Reolink cameras in my brooder and plan to move them out to my coop with my chicks. The ones I have can be connected via LAN or WiFi. Technically, one of them is an indoor camera (I wanted to pan/tilt/zoom), but Reolink has an extensive line of cameras with a wide variety of features and price points, including many wireless versions. Regardless of how you connect the camera to your network, you can view the camera feed on your phone with their app and so far it has worked well for me. No monthly service fee required. Many of the cameras have SD card slots and pretty much all of them can be used to record to an NVR (network video recorder), though that is not necessary for remote live viewing.

These are but a couple of many options they offer and I've been very pleased with them. I much prefer them to my trail cams.

Be wary of some of the less expensive wireless cameras out there. I've heard they pose some serious network security risks. Read the reviews for more info on that.

FYI camera will be at most 50ft from the house. If that's too far I could potentially mount it on my house but view of coop will be about 50ft away

I’ve had one of mine about 100 ft from my router... and it worked fine... so you should be fine.... not sure what the max limit is though.

I am looking at the Spypoint Link models. They are trail cameras that send pics to your phone. The Micro is in the $160 range. Subscription prices are not bad at all. If anyone had experience with these, please chime in.

I'm using Zmodo cams - you'll need a wifi extender...but they are likely the best priced ones on the market and easy to use.
