hi All, the lady showed right on time and took 15 keets.. they are now in Tomahawk at the "donkey lady's" home.. does anybody here know her ? a real nice lady.. Marlane..
one turkeyis pipped and in the meantime, 3 guineas hatched,,
I did not get the lawn mower started.. the choke cable was rusted/stuck.. I had to do quite a bit of disassembly to get it off. I got it off, loosened up and WD40'd the he11 out of it.. then Annie had to go to work so I had to come inside.. I will leave the charger on it overnight.. tomorrow I will reassemble everything and see if the beast will start..
In the meantime, I fiddled around with the push mower of my daughter's.. she said that it will start but will not keep running.. You know,? she is right.. I know how to fix it, but I was not in the mood to tear a carburator apart just then..
the peacock came close enough for me to toss it some small pieces of bread.. quite an improvement.. I did a mean thing.. one of the pieces of bread had some creamy horseradish sauce on it.. the chickens and peacock ate it all.. but when he got finished, he was wiping his beak on the ground.. I had always heard that a chicken could not taste "hot" like peppers.. I guess it is not the same for peacocks.. LOL
we did not get any of the rain this afternoon.. It went from hwy 29 to the south.. I am 5 miles North of 29..
It is getting dark, better go chase the last stragglers in and shut the doors..
