It's dark and I'm back in the house. Just fired up the grill - gonna burn up some "Yooper High Speed Beef" - aka Venison.

Shed is "relatively" presentable. I've got a few minor things to do tomorrow and THEN I'll get to the garage... ughhhh I've got sooo much GOOD stuff in there! It's hard to find places for everything. I think I'm gonna back my little trailer up to the door and if I haven't used it in the last 2 years, it's not a tool, not sellable...etc. I'm gonna fill the trailer up and take a ride to the dump. I'm dreading it but I've got soooo much crap in there, it's unbelievable. Took me almost 20 min just to make room/clear things up so I could run my joiner the other day.

Looking forward to meeting up/swapping with you again FT - you pick the time/location... and we'll snort some DE... LOL

Jeeez.... am I the only one on here this evening?????

Evening All... not much new here today. That can be a good thing somedays.

The fire sure feels good. We decided on Bfast for supper tonight. Ham,eggs, fried spuds and ho made toast with wild grape jelly.

Hope your venzun on the grill with the Rev turned out good Tom. Nothing better .

Evening all! I've got some really thick chops in the oven (thanks Carol!) that are starting to smell pretty darn good! The burning squash stuff not so much! I think Next time I will tell DS22 to put a pan under it! Anyhow, way darn cold tonight--I am sitting with my hat on in the house cause it keeps me way warmer! LOL!
Tom I hope that is your "real" face. Much nicer than both of the last ones for sure!
Bigz you will be happy to know that I moved the buckeyes into the shed in their own private little pen today. I will report tomorrow how they like it. Their neighbors are the "striped ones" many different types of birds together that have stripes! I am starting to get everyone separated by breed...in preparation of eggs. Now they just need to realize that they need to start laying!

About pellets... feed my birds laying mash. It is powder. What do you feed yours in Tom that they dust bathe in it? I have mine in hanging feeders...sometimes if they have too much to eat they will knock it out but that hasnt happened for a while. I found that I was feeding them too much! When I gave them pellets they ate way less...then they stopped laying. Not sure what happened. I use the feed from my local mill. They will extend credit if I need it. They will also put stuff out on the dock for me to pick up on Saturday. I also am not tempted into purchasing anything extra by staying out of the stores!

Okay - REAL pic is up ----- for a little while anyway.. LOL Now you guys get to see what a 20+ year Marine, raised a daughter on his own since she was six months old and have been "rode hard and put away wet" more times than I can count looks like...LOL


I have a hanging feeder and when I'm feeding the "good stuff" (crumbles..etc.) those darn birds can throw five times outta it than what they eat... LOL
