I'm not convinced, IDK.
SOMETHING riped the head off one of my birds awhile back and something else ate one of my birds from the bottom up, cleaned out everything on the inside. IDK what it was, but I'm not trusting ANYTHING in my coop

Morning All...I suppose FT and TO are knawing at the bit waiting for the playoff football today and tomorrow! I know I'm glad it's gonna be on!

Great job CC...you're the bestest taking the time to post all the great information.

I think you are right on Tomski about Jim's set-up. If you have possums around then you don't have skunks usually...they chase them out of the area. I have alot of possums running around here. We have one named Opie even. Don't have any skunks though.

I don't see the guests or folks viewing that you refer to raim?

Hope the hatches continue to go well.

I prefer to use 5%sevin dust for vermin...just so easy and full proof results.

How was the fish FT? No leftovers here. Suzie forgot to make coleslaw. The new head of cabbage, is still new! Prolly would of been leftovers due to filling up on coleslaw.

Well, that's kinda cool, Raim (not about what got your birds, but the thing you had to click on).

Coons rip the heads off birds. Not sure about the other one. And I totally agree with you about letting anything into the coop. I feel the same way. He wasn't in the coop, just the inside run, but it was still a shocker seeing him there. DH fixed the problem right away & solved that issue. I'm just glad it was a skunk and not something more sinister that found it's way into there. It could have been a lot worse. Skunks & opossums may not hurt your birds, but they could be carrying mites, fleas, etc. & bacteria, so it is best to deter them from hanging around. Once they can't find a way to get in, they move on.

Thought I'd share this recipe for "123 scrambled eggs" my sister just told me about.

2 eggs
1 heaping tablespoon (kind you eat with) greek yogurt

mix eggs with yogurt, mix real real good for a minute or two

Microwave for 123 seconds !!

I guess they turn out really fluffy !!! Of course she used my farm fresh eggs !!

Oh and I clicked on Preferances which I know some of you don't have and clicked on "Go Invisible" and then checked the "Currently Viewing" and it didn't show up as guest. Didn't show anything other then the members that were viewing. So that said, our mystery guest is just that a gues to BYC !!! Just an FYI so if you are invisible your really are invisible !!

Oh yes Bigz !!! Can't wait for the playoffs !!! Didn't even know they were on today !!!! I did know about tomorrow and the Packers though !!! I even bought some dip for chips (it was in the reduced section and looked good) but didn't buy chips !!!

Good reason to go to town when the game is on today !!!

Well, gotta go and see what OM is up to. We're suppose to be working on chicken waterers (the nipple waterers) today and putting the heated bases we made in the coops. Arrrgh if we don't do it soon it will be spring !!!

I'll try to get some pics of my new chickies today. Maybe while the game is on. Who is playing today ? Who do I want to win? They would be playing against the Packers WHEN the Packers win right? See I said WHEN not IF !!! Go Pack Go !!!!

I can't wait for the game myself. I honestly think I may have to name whatever chicks pop out for me (fingers crossed) after Packers! Donald is my favorite player, such a great person on and off the field. Whatever shipped eggs can hatch must be Packer tough...

Have you guys looked at the top ten coop links on here? WOW is all I can say. But between what you guys have told me about coops and seeing those... It gives me some more ideas. Hey Big... Would you ever post pics of your set up? I would like to see any pics of Cheeseheads coops if anyone feels like sharing their set up on here...

Bigz, on the right side of the screen under the "recent reviews" is a box that says "currently viewing". I see you, me & Raim on there right now. And thank you. Guess I was bored.

Sometimes if the cats didn't like their food, I would toss it out the back door.

Sometimes I would have a skunk & a possum both show up for dinner. The skunk would try to scare him off, don't ask how,

but the possum was not caring.

Par for the course. I usually seem to attract the freaks of nature around here. Haven't seen either for a while now, though.

The smileys are kind of a PITA now, aren't they?

LOL...Thanks now I see it. I have my text set nice and big. By doing that the whole right border is off the screen unless I scroll over to see it. One of the nice features I was missing. In general the new format isn't so bad.

I'll have to see if I have any pics of the coops bf4.

That's pretty cool raim...you puter savy folks are quite geeky.

Jim is gonna be getting help with getting back on. Might be a short while though. His daughter let the dog out and it took off across the field...however it came back right away. Jim said it is full of energy...kinda not like me!

In regards to the games today. AFC game is tonight... Denver and New England...The NFC game is this afternoon... New Orleans and New England...whoever wins that game has to play GreenBay at Lambo next week after we spank the Giants tomorrow.
