Now BL4 will be working umpteen jobs. That phone is gonna ring BBCB I feel it in my bones. Your gonna see JP if I have to take out a loan!!!! Just sat down for the second time today. The first was 10 minutes ago for a meeting on the picnic table. It was really nice! Did too much today to tell. Feeling some accomplishment. BCC you are to be commended for sharing your vast knowledge with us newbies. Thank You! Having the youngest and her Bo over for pot roast tomorrow evening. Kinda hope he's the one. Gotta go get the grill fired up. I had so much fun today! It's nice to find humor in everything you see!

Good Evening All...Just got back from the monthly meeting at camp. Plenty of projects always going on there.

The java peeps are doing great...silly peeps started to grow wing feathers right away. I heard they do that, seeing is believing. They sure are a content breed.

Wanted to start planting, but everything is too wet and soggy. The cold front that's here will cause me to delay planting yet anyway. I'll have to re till everything again, and I have plenty of grass that needs cut.
I'm gonna prolly mulch the tomatoes and beans for sure. I'd like to mulch more, but it takes alot of straw.

Good to hear that you're staying busy and enjoying the good life Doc. I'm done with money donations for my son. We can discuss this at the bash.... I see a difference between help, and enable their ways.

fm, did the door work for your coop? Should have some pics soon, eh!

OK DrH--find some humor in this for me PLEASE! I got a call from the sheriff today--my horses were out. Turns out the neighbor called him because they wouldnt go across the broken electric fence line. Duh---horses usually wont do that--he is a cow guy. Sure wish I knew who broke the fence! I would get a set of hobbles for sure. I see no humor in this--the sheriff said to look for a ticket in the mail--what a Di$%! Why didnt he just write it if he was going to write one? Now I wont get out of my other ticket from last month in court that I dont even know why I got it!!! I just HATE this county...they werent even on the road! OK--enough...I am leaving for a little vacation tomorrow to go riding with my daughter...this is our 10th year of going on this trip for Mothers' Day. It is so fun...but always cold and rainy and the day is even earlier this year...we will still have fun in our boots and winter coats though! (with a BIG fire)
My potatoes are finally coming up! I am excited about the planting in the barrels this year. I got the Brussels sprouts in too...12 plants this year! MMMM--we WILL have sprouts!
Well DD is home and we have to stack some hay...talk to you tomorrow! Terri O

BCC, Just shining the flashlight on the eggs when I turn them. The broken air cell one looked scrambled before it started developing so I did not have much hope for that one. The other one does not have the egg as filled with vessels as the other two who are going along strong.

TerriO I think you need to get some of those motion cameras the hunters use and put it where your horses keep breaking out. Then at least you would know what is going on and if it is something with 2 legs or 4 assisting them in escaping. Then you could fight those tickets!

Off to bed, another load of horse manure to pick up tomorrow......

Popping in to say hi! Been working hard on the coop and run. Ended up making two huge runs and one beautiful cottage looking house. Silkies are still in the brooder until the who run roof is covered and safe from hawks.

Terri- sorry the horses got out again, yikes. *Waves hi to Fordmommy, Dr. H and the rest of the crew here* Hopefully I get to meet up with BBCB soon!

Good Morning All! Speaking of hawks. Peaches just called all the girls into the coop and was throwing a fit. I went out and one flew over. He's such a good boy! TO that's a tough one, sounds like you neighbor isn't very understanding. I know you've had differences before. OK Why did the horses cross the fence line? Because they love a man in uniform. Sorry not feeling very olympic today coach. The yard got mowed for the first time and it's always the worst. Pretty rough. Plus got ALL of the junk from out behind the shed cleaned up. Yes I found some "good stuff" back there. Now just have to chop out the sumac. Looks like it's going to be a domestic day today. Dishes and cleaning plus have some running to do. Better get to it. Have a good one!

It's cold today. 46* right now.

I swear I didn't do any snow dances!!!!!!! We are going to the Iola citywide rummage sale tomorrow. I'm dropping the boys off at grandma's tonight so DH and I can go. They have one of the best citywides around. And who knows. Weyauwega's is tomorrow too. We might end up there also.

I went yesterday for a while and got some really nice jeans for me. Like 10 pairs! I started Weight Watchers a couple months back and now none of my pants fit me. I can take them off without unbuttoning them.

for me! I also started with the last whole in my belt and the other day I had to make a whole NEW whole.

FINALLY the "having babies weight" is coming off!

Well-got some running around to do today. Stay warm!

OH! I almost forgot! I did something great for my DH yesterday. His B-day is at the end of the month and I never get him anything good. He never wants anything either. Well-yesterday I ordered tickets for us to see "Larry the Cable Guy" in Green Bay next weekend!

He is going to be SOOOOOO surpriced. He gets me tickets for concerts and stuff and I have never done that for him. I think he's going to really love this B-day!!!

Ha! No worries, Dr. H, we're not on the food lines as of yet. Thank goodness that Mom is working, and I'm picking up a lot of hours at my part-time job, which is not glamorous but pays pretty well. I think you're right about the phone ringing, I've got a couple of irons in the fire so we shall see.

MTF we will hook up soon, sorry I'm working this afternoon...I thought maybe you were thinking earlier. My chickens could use the company and so could I. Weather here is just downright nasty, I'm trying to not let it get to me.

Terri O I would think with all the good you do for so many that you'd get some form of dispensation from the powers that be...no one has a sense of humor. Sometimes cops can be the worst, take it from me, I used to be one. I'd never have written you a ticket though, I was more the Andy of Mayberry type. Live and let live.
