Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Hi every one! The internet is FINALLY back! I had to do some fancy unplug, plug in, wait, turn off, unplug, plug in....waitthen it worked! YEAH
wee.gif
I still am having camera problems and now email too. None of my previously used addresses come up! How am I going to invite people to the graduation party? I am in deep ah...compost! I really wanted to post the pictures of the chicks. I moved them to the coop today into a penned off area to keep them safe. Actually they are bigger than the outside hatched babies by a mile...but have been so sheltered from being inside. My daughter is bringing home the ones she hatched at school tomorrow. I am going to try to put them in unde the hen with the same age chicks...the only problem that I am seeing right now is that there are about 5 hens that have taken the babies...they are all sharing! So I dont know if it will work but I am going horse camping with my daughter for Mothers' Day and want to lessen the animal work load for my other daughter and DH! It makes me nervous to leave though if the animals are new to a routine ya know?
Well--I am exhausted and have the day off tomorrow so I am off to bed...good night! Terri O

Amazing news to report; I have another call duck egg developing!!!! And it is one of the ones with a broken air cell!

I took them out of the turner and decided to do hand turning since these eggs are so fickle!

Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the storms (those who were affected)! My DD and I watched it roll in and loved all of it! The double rainbow at the end was the icing on the cake.

Interview tomorrow and another call today on a different job! I swear when it rains it pours (no pun intended)! I know your ship will come in too BBCC!

OH! BTW, I have been experimenting with a homeopathic method of tick and flea repellant on my dogs; just a few drops of Rose Geranium (AKA Bourbon Geranium) essential oil on the collar should do the trick. It is a bit strong the first few days but at least you do not have that doggy smell! Repeat once a month. So far so good. No ticks or fleas.

that tornado missed me by 2 miles or so, but tossed all my rebuilt breed pens all over the yard, the worst part is my incubator was off from 7:30 to 11:30 and its at the time it will do the most damage, 16 growing Java eggs (

Went out to move things to mow, ain't happenin! WOW it's windy! BCC glad to hear the nader missed you! BBCB I wasn't thinking that you'd have to travel all that way think there's something closer to you. I was tossing around the idea of buying you and yours some tickets but the phone wrang last night. It was my son in-law, they needed a grand to pay the rent and other bills. He's 40 years old and an eternal student. So I made him listen to what I thought about the whole situation. It's not the first I've bailed them out. By the end of the convo he was calling me sir.

He needed a kick in the pants! So alas the thought was there. I'm sorry but can't swing it either right now. Wish I could cause I surely would. Belly says it's lunch time

it's mostly pallet wood, which was a TON of work, but so worth it - spent less than $100. I love being frugal. Now it just needs some peepers. Have a great day all!

here is our nursery that we put together for our 13 babbies as they are to small to go in coop but too big for the house
so far it is working good once these babies are outin the big coop i will let the kids paint it so it will wheather better for the winter and
will roof it also
