KAQ When I saw the pic broke out into my usual big stupid grin. Another great memory put in the file cabinet between my ears. I have the white elephant sitting on top of the media storage cabinet to be seen from anywhere in the room. Looking back on it I think I was set up! Yes it'll come back next year. What a great idea! BL4 I'm starting to understand why nobody likes you. Your just sooo mean! I forgot to ask fm if we got enough donations to cover everything thing. fm PM me if we didn't. Bigz can't wait to try Suzies recipe that was excellent bread! The thought of not spending an entire morning making bread makes me giddy. Tell her Thanks again. BBCB was so glad to meet you wish we could have had more time but fully understand your situation. That was a long ride for you guys. I'm so glad we went and met you all what a great bunch of people! With only one exception. You know who you are, you thief! It's on now girl! Think that chickens attract kind hearted people. If it rains and I don't get the small garden done will get Laura to show me how to download pics, a lot of pics.

Afternoon All....Gosh I hope I'm not the last to post. It was a great time at the bash yesterday. Me and suzie both had just the best time.
Doc, high five and special thanks for all the music. It's gonna be fun to listen to something new. Jennie listened to the old time radio hour on the way home...she said it was great and laughed out loud. I don't have one of those fancy players in my old truck

We will have em crankin on the puter though...

Annarie, thanks for the java peeps. That was awful nice of you to just give them away. The cheeseheads are all just the best folks.

I'm a bean counter kinda, and I think we had like 50 people there. That's not bad for the first try, eh!

I talked to alot of folks, but think I missed some, sorry for that screw up, if I did. Hope we can have another one next year

Oh Annarie get that jacket in the wash and scrub her hands, she'll be worse than a dead skunk in the middle of the road! It's a childhood learning experience. Boy you were the big hit with the duckies and the chicks! You too H&R and Jim. Bigz tell Jim that he now has a place in history. The First Annual Bigzio Bash Keet Chase! Hope he'll get on here, really liked talking with him. Can see why he's your friend. Becky my response to that is SO. Hey I waited as long as I could stand it. You know how I am. raimnel cool names for the duckies! I was standing there when your husband was showing you something in his pocket. I almost wanted to see then thought better of it. L kicked butt inside while I got the mater garden weeded. Should have done it last week had about 100 roma maters sprouted from last year in there. Left about 30 in case I can find a home for them. Have to get some laundry folded before drag racing starts.

FINALLY I can post. I had to read all of the prier posts first. We got home about noon or so I guess. Had a GREAT time. My nose still hurts where them Button Quail smacked me. Never did find them. Terri O and I went down there a couple times but to no avail.

Thanks Bigz and Suzie for the TON of plates and napkins. You guys are awesome! What an awesome time. Dr Ha Ha, my kids had such a great time with L. Tell her thank you for spending so much time hookin' up worms for the little one.

FYI: We got $58 from donations. That is enough for the shelter and the banner return.

Can't wait until next year for sure. If any of you are cruisin' through Waupaca, give a shout out. Maybe we can hook up for lunch or another meal! Glad to have any one of you stop in.

I'll post the pics of the party hopefully tomorrow. Right now I have to finish unpacking the camper and stuff. Have a wonderful evening!!!!

What a great first Chickenstock! Fun to meet y'all; the white elephant exchange was a hoot, the food was delish, and all those little critters - you naughty people!

I was strong and only came home with the last Ameraucana, little bitty is fitting right in with the rest of 'em. DH still says no bunnies, sorry Terri.
Glad that we gathered enough funds to cover everything. That was a good choice of venue, I think. Or we could make it Bigzio's Traveling Chickenstock. Here's a couple pics off my camera:

My friend Julie had a really good time too. If she ever gets a home computer, she'll join us. Unfortunately, when she got home last night she found her male border collie had gotten out and wrecked havok with her chickens. As of today 6 dead and 2 still missing

And they're all her young replacement pullets too. Stupid dog. So if anyone is wanting to sell/unload any pullets or hens, I have a buyer. At least those 3 little Runner duckies make her smile, thanks Annarie!

Evening, and gosh I had fun at the bash. I really hope everyone wants to do it again. The feelings in my heart are strong for everyone that took the time to make this happen! I know, I know....

BBCB....God knows I'm glad you made the extra, extra, effort to show up for the first bash... I was so pleased to meet you and your wife. Don't want to arm wrestle you any time soon...

I'm thankful for everyone that made this a calendar date... We all have plenty to do...and this was truly fun..

I agree can't say it enough THANK YOU! to all that made it possible. Bigz glad you liked the tunes thought you might. Play it quite a bit when in the kitchen cooking with beer. Been listening to it since 73 it never gets old. fm like I said when L was gone for a long time she must have found someone with a fishin pole. She was telling me all about fishing with him. He couldn't believe she would touch the worms she said that gave him courage to get one out himself. She had a ball with him, said he opened up after a little while. Think they both found a new friend. All the way home and all day yesterday I would break out in a grin or a little giggle. L would say what? I would say oh nothing. I was remembering everyone. So glad I got on here and met you all! It truely has enriched my life. Thank you for being you! Even you BL4. Amy glad you and your kids and your friend had a good time. Didn't get to hear how much longer your brooder will be in operation. Hope all goes well!!!! After weeding the garden yesterday discovered that I need 3 more mater cages not just one. So that's on the list today and I want to put the rubber roofing on the well cover. Looks like the rain is going to hold off till tonight. Had to fire up the dehumidifier 83% in the house everything feels damp. Running late have to open up the coop. Have a good one!
