I read way back but crs right now. Watched my son's animules on Saturday as he went to a concert. Gave the cat his insulin shot and didnt mess it up this time. On the way home I was driving down by college town and thought I heard a train. Hu? No trains here. Ended up in the middle of a semi parade!!! In the dark!!! It was the second annual one in Eau Claire. I stopped to watch it. It was Awesome. All the shiny trucks with all their lights on and horns blowing. Antiques and new ones. A GreenBay Packer one! It was really awesome. Wish I had my camera with. There must have been at least a hundred. It was quite the show. Anyway crs else. Sorry for any other losses I missed. I am going to the Portage show to spectate and also to see about a cochin. Anyone else going Here is the pair I got last month. >

Forgot to mention about the weather. It was rather chilly in the house with the windows open and was dang near cold as I went out to let the kids out. Came in and put on a pair of sweats. Felt like my legs had sun burn then realized I haven't had long pants on since I think April. I KNEW the bathroom scale was off. Only got 10 pints of kraut. Will know for sure tomorrow it's my annual VA appointment.

Yep, wish you guys were closer...I have prolly 2 bushels of beets...both round and cylindra ones, and I'm taking a 5 gal pail of cukes up tomorrow for bear bait, I would of gladly shared them with you Doc....they have eaten them in the past. I can't blame them...they are tasty.

Best Wishes for stirfry Vic...It's tough when they are sick awhile, and nothing helps.

Almost forgot...I had this one beet that looked weird with the leaves green and the beet isn't red. It is nice sized so i pulled it today....checked the sandhill catalog, and sure enough, it's a Detroit White...suppose to be the same flavor as red beets without bleeding....I'll let you know how it tastes.

Orange is pretty..

I did not get a lot done today.. I took the crank to get it checked out.. The mains need to be machined.. so it will not be ready this week.. the rod part of the crank just need to be polished..

I did get t he clutch problem taken care of.. It was an easy fix.. just linkage.. there is a lot of slop in the peddle, but it doesn't hinder the operation..

I did manage to get a couple pieces cleaned and painted.. I temporarily stuck the white distributor into the black block.. mannnn, does it look sharp..

I moved all the guinea keets and pea chicks out to the brooder pen.. Had to make room in the TV for the quail that are hatching.. 4 so far..

I talked to Russel this AM,, he said to use the bolt holes in the block to drive the sleeves down..neat idea.. He also told me what to check out on the clutch.. which I did and it worked.. I think I will do a slight modification on the adjusting screw, though.. still not too late to make improvements on a 57 year old tractor, eh ?

I like the step through loader on the Fjiord.. the bucket is a trip ?? not so good..

Guten Abend! Hey, I did good at the fair. Vegetables - 2 firsts, 3 seconds, 3 fourths. Photography - 2 firsts, 4 seconds, 2 thirds, 1 fourth, and 2 Best of Shows!!!

Plus today is our 7th anniversary, Cartman took a 3hr nap, 3 buckets of veggies came out of the garden, and the guinea did not attack me or anyone else. A good day.
