Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

On my second cup of java... eventually I will have to get dressed, I have to get the DD to work by 11.

I have been checking craigslist for a certain vehicle for the kids.... I think they would enjoy one at their grandparents place. BigFam, what kind is yours? There is a Yerf-dog 3202 in Reedsburg for a reasonable price. It has a few issues but I do not think it is anything my DH cannot fix. The biggest expense would be driving down and back to get it.

Pretty boring around here. I hope we can head over to my in-laws this afternoon and visit the ducks.

Jim did that, I must have read your mind.

I will go out in a few minutes to see if they came back if not I will go round them up. I wonder how the bantams would get along with the ladies.

Good morning! Went on a nice ride last night...not going to Palmyra today to ride though. The day is gorgeous (not a cloud in the sky) and even kinda warm. I am going to do yardwork I think...got a huge load of wood chips from the "Assplunge" guys in the orange trucks. I have to get them spread out over my mud! Got the garlic in yesterday so I hope it has some time to settle in before the ground freezes. Going to plant a mum in the pet cemetery too...my friend's dog went easily. I was glad...poor thing.
It was nice talking to you MLH! Glad you checked in. Poor Twain! Thank God you guys got in right away! Just a warning...now he has the choice to do something about it right? Hope your dog gets better quick too!
Glad you slept well last night Jim! I sure didnt! Tossed and turned until 2 or so when DH and the kids got home...they did a Halloween fund raiser thing for the Rec center. THe guys were hillbilly chainsaw murderers and the girls were Zombies (or something) DD26 put on the "run for your life" event. She claims she asked me to be the Headless Horseman but I sure dont remember...I would have been all over that! The stab would that DD20 had on her chest looked way too real...kinda made me gag!
I picked up a new roo yesterday. The woman had bought them from me as chicks and said he was chasing her kids. He is an Australorp. Seems to be a pretty nice boy! I am jealous that you guys have your roos butchered! I really need to do that soon...or sell a bunch! That's what happened last year; sold them all so I didnt have to do any!
I will check that recipe out BL4. I have garbanzo bean flour that I should use...maybe I will make myself some treats today. I would love to see the pics of your set up! (even if they arent so good)
Well, all the people are finally out of bed so it is going to get noisy in here now...all the kids are home. DD cant go riding...she needs to study but the library isnt open...good luck doing it here! They just gave the full report of the run...it sounds like it was really fun! DD says I will have to be the HH next year cause it would be cool. I hope my horse can handle it.

OK I need to find something to eat...have a great day everyone! TerriOcantthingofanythingclever

I have not been bale to gt ahold of Wcc in a while either...worried about her. Left her a few voicemails..we will see if she gets back to me

Otonha: Hope you find the bantys!

MLH: So sorry to hear about your hubby-stents are a life saver!!! Keeping him in my thoughts and prayers.

BabyLady: I just saved that recipe in my favorites-keep the GF recipes coming!!! Do you have any for a good sandwich bread recipe? And what about cut out xmas cookies?

I am having major problems with posting-no spacing and I keep receiving an error message that I must enter text to post-the only way i can get things to post is click preview then post. Anyone else having these issues?

Also-He didnt not find his buck and is not a happy camper!!! When tracking he came across a bear den and of course our dog went right in and started pointing EKK!

Grrr- still annoyed that all the icons are missing from this page for me. I am definitely a computer novice. Maybe I am supposed to upload some sort of something on my computer?
So happy to hear all the good news on here lately! Congratulations!!!!! :)
Found a broken soft egg in the coop yesterday. Guess I should try the oyster shell again. Last time the just tipped it all over :/
Put some boards under the roosts so I could remove them and scrape and make my life easier, but there was a few places with blood in the poo. What does that mean?
I know this is for chickens, but anyone out there with goats and know what to do for them when they have the scours?
Going to rake after the Packer game I think. The goats and horse love leaves :) Have a great day al!!!

Angiebubs- I am having the exact same problem!!! So annoying, plus I can't post a photo or have any little "guys" here either. I would have "quoted" your post but it won't let me...

Angie- I am having problems posting, about half the time after i press post, I get a message please put in a message. there is one there so I copy, then try to repost. It works then.

well went out around 10 and 12 and no sign of the other 2. I am sure that they have had a chance to wander far away or due to their colors are hiding in plain sight. I will leave the open run of the coop open all day with food and water in hopes they decide to come back. I am not holding my breath. I figure if we don't get them back by tomorrow they are gonners, Too many owls that can get them in the trees. I am hoping they calm down. The 4 that I did get back are all hiding in the coop, Such wierd birds, The ladies were out all day. These girls just sit in the coop. I did see a Japanese bantam and a seabright sharing the same nest box, Not sure why.
Have a good afternoon, off to rake.
