good PM, I did not get the tractor finished,, but I am on the downhill side of the project..
got the two reservoir tanks set in place and bolts and hose clamps in place, but not tightened down yet.. I checked my bucket of hydraulic oil.. the water has settled out of it.. I can reuse most of the 5 gallons.. luckily for me,, because that stuff costs about $14,oo a gallon..
I had a strange thing happen.. My good barred rock rooster went into convulsions.. he lost his equalibriam, and was sort of "rolling " along.. doing summersaults and couldn't stand up.. Naturally all the male birds of every species decided to exert their dominance on him.. I chased the other birds off and picked him up.. I instantly figured that he drank some of the spillage of anti freeze.. So, figuring he would die soon anyhow,, I experimented with some first aid..
I held him by his feet and swung him in a vertical circle about 3 times.. I figured that might force the fluid out of his mouth.. then I put him into a cage by himself.. He instantly settled down and in about an hour I turned him loose.. we will see if he is alive tomorrow.. He looked fine tonight ..
DrH, try that with L, maybe it is a cheap fix..
Had a small celebration last night.. DD#2 graduated from nursing school.. she has one more test to get her RN status.. On the other hand,, DD#1 lost one of her part time jobs.. she says she is not going to look for anything until after Dec 21, though.. has everyone here maxed out their credit cards and bought new cars ??
I am thirsty from being outside.. maybe I will break away from my diet long enough to have a brew..
chipped a tooth,, dentist tomorrow.. and the puppy has to go in for his booster shot.. busy day .No snow here yet.. maybe it will miss us ? not likely..
