Delisha...come spring carol and I might be able to hook you up with some silkies. I have a white and black hen that are show quality as well ask splash roo. We have two juveniles right now from him...one blue and one splash.

We have about six inches outside right now but it is raining.

good early morning,, about an inch of that slippery white sh!t on the ground, and on Dora.. she spends the nights outside,, her choice.. I found her "bed" .. it is a 2 ft deep hole she dug under a pine tree.. looks cozy enough..

two trips to town today.. might take the puppy along to my dentist appt. and he can wait in the car until his appt..

coffee should be done by now..

didn't let the birds loose yet, so I don't know about the BR rooster.. will let you know..

Cind, the turkey prolly bet his wings against the fence to make them bloody.. How come your toms fight ? I have had as many as 10 together and no fights.. I did have one knock down drag out fight between Old Tom and a tom that someone brought back.. They went at it for about an hour.. I broke them up several times, but they had to establish who was kingpin.. Old Tom is , of course.. once that was established, they never fought again.. I think each one thought he lost..

No cuppa,, c a n 't t h i n k , f e e l i n g w e a k,,,,,,,,,,

Good Morning -

Only about 1/2 inch here so far. It is coming down pretty good though. Unfortunately, it's the silky wet kind...

ATV is gassed up and ready to start plowing. It's pretty worthless on anything over 8" if it's wet and heavy - so I'll have to go out in the middle of this stuff before it gets that deep to do a "preliminary" plow - or put the chains on. I hate using the chains, it chews up the yard when I make the trails for the dog and to the wood piles. One of these days, I'm gonna get me a proper tractor or a snow blower!!! LOL

Looks like it's gonna be a good day to hang inside and do "manly" things (laundry, dust, vaccum...etc.) LOL

Stay warm!

So far we have about 7.5 inches here and it is still snowing.

Just found out that DH is short 1 helper today- my brother is not feeling good and so is at home.....wish DH would have woke me, I could have went and helped him, our DD is old enough to watch her brothers. I use to help do the snow route when the kids were small, we all went.

Working on shoveling out here, DH plowed our driveway before he left so it is alot less for us to remove.

Back outside......... stay safe

Sweet..do you show silkies?

We have about 5" of snow now and still coming down lightly. But then the wind is suppose to be a bugger, so that will add to the "fun". Take care driving, if you have to.

Kids are out playing in the snow already, but the wind is picking up so I don't think they will be out long. I'm guessing we have 7-8" here now. Hard to tell with the drifts. I did a marathon session of gift wrapping yesterday and planned on baking today. It's a good day for it!
