Hey Chad, I think TerriO mentioned that she's got about 3 feet of it in one of her coops.

I think she might make you help her shovel it, though. She's in Lake Mills.

No Sunny Afternoon To Everyone.... Nice chicks pic, thanks for sharing them.

I'm hoping MLH is busy with Twain and nothing more. We worry when folks just up and disappear.

I have red delicious, macs, duchess, fireside, jonathan, and numerous wild trees. some of those produce really nice apples and should be registered. The mice killed a couple new trees that were like 4 years old....my fault for not preventing them from kiling them.

In regards to wega bl4...I knew tonya and her parents quite well. It was a shock when she was killed. Hope they have the culprit caught. She worked at churny cheese (now closed) just up the street from where you live. At the time they thought for sure it was a fellow employee of her boyfriend that worked at the waupaca foundry....just sayin.

Went and bought layer mash at the mill yesterday...still under $20 per 100lbs...

Welcome to the cheeseheads...peacock!

Nothing new here. bigz

Finally got a couple of eggs from our Ameraucanas. It's been at least a month since we've gotten any. Of course, one was laid when it was really cold and didn't get it in time so it froze. But got another one yestreday afternoon.

Not sure if it was from the same hen or not, but at least one is laying again.

Hey gang...love the baby and mama pics...thanks for sharing. And I love reading about what trees everyone else has. We too pretty much lost everything because of the frost last year. The few we had went to the chickens and Piggie. I finally found my dehydrated...right where I always thought it was. (Don't you hate that?) Hope to dry lots of apples this year. I canned slices year before...not doing that again. We had a great raspberry crop last year. Chickens thought it was heaven. Piggie too. Another fence I'll have to come up with this year.
Ang..sorry your sick. Feel better soon! Soon as it warms up again I'll road trip your way.
My son wouldn't answer his phone when Id call. I got sick of it...so I called the phone company..reported it lost and had it shut off. Amazingly my son found a phone within a minute of his not working. Oh...how he tried to call me...many many times.....finally after about 30 minutes I finally answered my phone to a very frustrated upset kid who was trying to reach me becaue his phone wasn't working and he wanted me to fix it. Well...I pointed out know he knew how I felt. That his phone was gone for 2 weeks and I highly suggested that in the future that when I called...he better answer that phone within 2 rings...or it was gone longer the next time. It worked.

I am also going through the Freshman orientation for High School with my 13 yr old (Spent some time looking at how some high school courses earn college credits and having a heart attack at what college will cost!) and so far crossing my fingers as her teen years have started out well!

My older daughter was a different story altogether-she wasnt happy till she figured out which of my buttons to push (And that was before breakfast!). Maybe one positive to come from my 13 yr old having daibetes? THey say they tend to be more responsible and less teen rebellion towards parents (or maybe its she hasnt hit the full blown years yet!)

And thanks all! Just a lil nasty head cold and low fever-enough to wish I could go back to bed instead of working!
