Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Been shoveling on and off since 430..I got to the first coop. I might get the the third coop by noon if I am lucky. One good thing about all of this snow is that I don't have to tie the dog. That is a lot of snow to shovel. Not sure if or when I am ever getting out of this drive way. I can barely see over the top of it by the road.

snowy morning here- so far over 3 inches here and the roads are in slippery/snowy conditions- it will be slow going- kids are on a 2 hour delay for school this am.

DH had to go out already to remove snow from a few places and then will probably finish the complete route later tonight.

off to do chores

stay safe everyone!

Oh, so VERY many things I could say about that.........

Wow, I agree CC, good thing Frenchie is not on here! We love ya Frenchie and we miss you!

Wow though, you guys know about PM's?

It would be nice if all clinics would offer multi-pet discounts. It never hurts to ask though....

Runt is up and getting obnoxious. Meowing in your face, wanting to get pet, NOT liking is daily fluid bolus, and REALLY not liking the feeding tube. All good in my book.

Time to feed him before I head to work!

Morning everyone :)
Yep its snowing here too. Go figure, the news said it wouldn't hit us but of course as always they were wrong. My girls are finally laying :) I have my first full dozen eggs in the fridge:) I'm still waiting on my silkies, my andalusian, and my lakenvelder to lay though but shouldnt be long on the silkies. They are all squatting and looking around like their searching for a good spot. Well not much more is going on. Boy I cant wait till spring so I can get outside and clean up.

BL4 - glad to hear your kitty is feeling a bit better.

Could you please let me know what is acceptable to post here and what is not? The rest of it I will take to PM's as you requested.

Well we have about five inches here and school is closed. Blowing and drifting like crazy...the snow that is. Get the mind out of the gutter.
Kinda happy for a snow day, yesterday was rough day at work with this cold...my mind is still foggy...wonder what that margarita would do for that. Will have to go dig the chickens out later. I see them run out of the main coop, down the ramp and into the shed. They don't like the snow blowing in.
Oh we'll. kids are out playing in snow, told them we will make muffins, art projects and maybe start some of our veggie seeds today. Exciting day off work nd school.

Mr.Gibs did well outside last night. He did manage to soak some shredded paper in his water bowl. Otherwise he is curious about the side of the coop where the chickens are currently.

The dog noticed that there was a "varment" inside the coop with the chickens. I had to drag her away and begin the act of re-establishing dominance over the coop and all in it. She initially acted this way when I first moved the chicks out there.

The chickens also noticed something different in the coop. They squawked from the roost for a bit. I figured I'd give them sometime alone and I'll go out in a bit to check on them.
