Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Sad day here.

I came home from work to a very sick kitty. He just kept going downhill since he went in on Thursday...... so I made the call and now he is no longer suffering. At least everyone was here to say their goodbye's before we left, but this is still so hard on the youngest.... he is so tenderhearted.

So no more worrying for me, until the next cat decided to get sick!

I'll try to find a decent pic of Runt later so you can all see what a beautiful tabby he was.

Later all! Enjoy this sunshine while you can!
So sorry to hear about your kitty... hard decision but probably best for him. You certainly did all you could to help him.

Gee, thanks for posting that hideous pic, Terri.

We had a great time visiting, and really liked Derrick's brew. It was really good! The corned beef smelled heavenly too. Yum! I sure wish we lived a little closer. Maybe we can get together more as the weather warms up, if it ever warms up?

Absolutely loved all your critters and definitely would have taken home the kitty that was glued to my lap. What a sweetie!

So, so, so terribly sorry to hear about your kitty, Mellie. That is hard to have to go through, I know. Best wishes for you and your family.

What seeds have you started I just got my big order in the mail last week! Idk when to start at this rate...

Much like my chicken sickness, I bet a bit over excited too early with seeds to :)
So, I have tomatoe, peppers, herbs, cucumbers, pumpkins ( I do this every year knowing full well hat the seeds I plant in the garden do better, just can't help myself)...broccoli , Brussels sprouts, califlour,...some odds n end flowers.

Sorry about the kitty loss ..:-(

I just went overboard ordering seeds haven't started yet but will start peppers and tomatoes soon! Last year I started my peas in mid April in the garden don't think I will be so lucky this year:(

Evening All....sorry about your kitty bl4. Tuff for sure.

Nice pics Hurley. Thanks for sharing.

Good to see you again Robin. That was a nice pic. Thanks for sharing TO!

The deer must really be getting hungry now. A couple were here early today. One still has half of his rack. The wild turkeys are even more hungry I think. Hope the melt starts soon.

Ford Motors sent me a payment already. That didn't take long...LOL!

Don't know if I'l make church in the morning or not....finally caught the dredded cold too. Man that sucks having to take the meds.

Quote: See you there
Quote: I started peppers and Tomatoes..I think it is a bit early. They are already too leggy. I might just feed them to the birds.

I had such a nice visit with Melonie and Scott. They have such beautiful children. They chose the best three chicks I think!!!
Melonies daughter has an eye for chicks and wanted some Ameracauna and her son wanted silkies. Such wonderful well behaved kids.

I hope this works.....

He was purring right to the end. I know we did the right thing and I am glad we fought hard to get him better. In the end it was too much for his ailing body...... Thankfully I still have his brother and sister here to help us heal. No new kitties here for a while though, Spice has issues marking and I would like to prevent her from starting up again.....

On to better things!!!!! Everyone will be dripping into their keyboards!!!!!

Started my tomatoes, eggplant, peppers and ground cherries at the beginning on March. I have sprouts!!!!! At the end of the month I am going to start the squashes, broccoli ( I picked up that Romanesco type), and brussels sprouts.

Time to make a cheesecake for tomorrow. Celebrating my moms birthday and St. Pattys all at once.

Sorry for the loss, it's hard to let our pets go.

Mellie...so sorry about kitty.
We have a sick puppy here. Don't know what he got into, but he was up at 5, spitting up bile. Did that for a few hours...didn't eat and was fairly mellow all day. Decided about 6 to eat a little food and when we went in ds room for bed time story, he jumped on the bed to join us and lost his dinner there...ugh. And we are up posed to have a trainer come out tomorrow to work with him....have been on wait list nice January. Ugh...lets hope e is better tomorrow. No clue what else to do for him.

We had a nice visit witth Robin (CC) and Steve this afternoon! They cam to bring the chicken I am transporting to BD tomorrow for IrishR. (you better show up or he is MINE!) A very nice lavender orpington roo. They came in for a while to taste some of DH's homebrew. It must not be too bad cause they had another!
