awesome thanks a bunch!
Midgets! We loves our midgets! They are awesome and sweet. Just the most curious little buggers around.
All my incubators are Brinsea. I don't add water until lockdown and have great hatches even with shipped eggs. I have two octo 20s, and octo 48 and an ova easy 380. Love them.
Oh yes JJ--I have 5 that LOVE to do just that! The stinkier the better. This is the reason I have not tied chickens to their necks...that, and the fact that they are house dogs!mine would find much joy rolling in the smelly rotten chicken smell.
Maybe you could put Jake into a barrel with the carpeting and the couch? Might teach him to stay off? Sounds like you need the dog boots I just gave to st vinnies?nice spring day,,,,,,,,,,,,,,somewhere
Jim, you have a nice hill in your driveway,,,,,put the pup and the dead bird in a barrel, fasten the lid,,,roll the barrel down that hill,,,,,repeat for a few rolls. Better do it now while he still fits in a barrel!
the bigger the hill the better, if you had someone to tag along to help,, as I recall there are some dandy hills in your area,,,,just need someone else to help at the bottom,,,,,this DOES work. Learned the trick from one of the best dog men this state has ever seen...used to break gun dogs from running deer this way using the head, legs, and hide in the barrel with the dog,,,
sounds crazy and definitely not PC these days but it works
speaking of dogs, Jake was out with me while I did chores. He came to the door when I called him doing his terrier jumping high to get in trick,,,ripped a pad. I left him in then went to the tractor and swept it off, came back in and there were bloody footprints all over the carpet and the couch,,,DD is cleaning the mess, we got the foot washed, dried, and applied styptic, Now to keep him calm (yeah right) hopefully it heals fast.....ugggg

HMMMM--seems to me that if she is buying him at a discount then you might be able to buy Hershey eggs at a discount?OOOOHHHHHH CC.... Someone is getting Chocolate Orpington eggs.![]()
If I get an extra roo, you can buy one at a discount. Then I get Hershey eggs with chocolate daddy input in trade...
Gee Vicky, I think you shoulda talked a little harder! If only we could have had Cheryl drink a little of that brandy slush....it might have worked! LOL! SHe is just WAY too responsible! Great visit BTW! DS loves the smell of the gravy you sent and wants me to make that dish ASAP! (Oh man, it wad delish...HMM--is that where you got your name?)The girls just left. I could not talk them in to staying later. They must have enjoyed the food, not a scrap left. Not much berry brandy slush left. We had such a nice visit. I hated it to end. Ann your birds are on the way. You have FF on some feathered feet..sorry. Poor baby's.![]()
I would help. But I'm outside of the area you want to drive to. I have 57 eggs scheduled to hatch the day before Easter. (Which can mean 2 days before Easter all the way through 2 days after Easter). I'm in Sauk City. Google from you to me and see if you want to make the drive.Hi - I asked some questions about a week ago about getting new chicks. And I decided I am going to pick up 2 chicks to add to my huge existing flock of 2.![]()
I'm wondering if anyone here would have a couple to sell me for pick up Easter weekend? My dd is off the next week and I figure she can enjoy them and keep a watchful eye.
I'd like some teeny ones - she has her heart set on that. I'm near Milwaukee but I'm willing to drive for them - Madison or Janesville area.
thanks.
