good morning, well, I pushed my luck too far.. I was waiting for the last chick to clear his shell before transferring the next batch of eggs to the hatcher,, now I have guineas running around in bator #3..

sold the 4 guinea keets I had , yesterday.. she still wants about 6 more.. maybe this hatch will fill that order..

A little handy tip; do not plant groundcherries indoors 8 weeks before you can get them outside....... they grow too fast! Mine are blooming already!!!

I let the mallard out this morning and she flew on top of the chicken coop and was making a ton of noise. Then I got excited because I heard a drake calling. I tried to figure out where he was. Finally realized he was in the air. She called in a mallard drake

Wow you guys have been funny!
I love all the pics of the chickies- and I hope those little ones are starting to improve.
So tired of all this snow and ice- literally. The kids have been sick, I have no ambition, the house is a disaster and I have had an upset stomach for 4 days. Don't know if I am getting what the kids have, or if it is the weather making me feel like garbage. Hoping I feel better soon- it is amazing how quickly 4 little ones can destroy a house. If you don't keep on it everyday... ugh.
The chicks and ducklings are growing away on the porch, and the 10week olds seem to be doing ok outside in their private coop. I have eggs under 2 broody hens, but they make me nervous... I split the eggs up between those 2 and the incubator. Hoping something hatches the end of the month.
