Lots of people on FB reported internet outages today. I heard there was supposed to be some kind of cyber attack on the White House, Chase Bank and some others today that never happened. I wonder if some providers were just taking precautions and shutting things down during the supposed attack time frame. ???

Psyco - I think some folks here have the bash info in their signatures. I don't know how to do all that fancy stuff yet. (BigZ???)

DrH.... Nice when parents can help out even after they are gone. I didn't get allot from my folks, a little money and some property I couldn't afford to do repairs on.

DH's mom left us enough for the down payment on this place.

Krispi.... I think that chick would be too old to give the broody, she may think of it more as a pest rather than a baby.

TO.... From what I understand they they usually do full limb apms. now because they found it was safer and less stressful on the animal. They found that with a partial they often keep trying to use what's left and can injure it more. Mom and kids are cute! Hope she gets them where they belong OK. What a shiner! Hope it clears up soon! If you got one of the green goops it will work good on that!

Well, Storky and the kids are doing great! I didn't get more pics yet. However, I'm so glad I didn't pitch the "extra" (unhatched) eggs. I thought I'd throw them in the 'bator and see what happens. Yep, about 3:00 this after noon one more hatched! I let it dry off and slipped in with mom about 11p.m. Hope it can keep up with the other, they're a day and a half ahead of it. ALL 11 are DIFFERENT!!! No 2 the same! Talk about a Mutt Mix! LOL Well, variety is the spice of life ... right? Sure is spicy here! OK, I think I got it down to only 2 stubborn broodys! Now I got to get better brood boxes set up. I made room for 2 boxes but Storky has one. I can put in one in the other space, but I'm one space short. Jasmine better not get broody now! So far so good.

Must sleep! Got lots of coop moving to do! Night All!

I was going to attempt to make another batch last night...... yeah that did not happen so I will be making some tonight, I hope 2 batches, and I will be getting the Coffee soap cut. THIS time it actually looks like coffee. I was thinking I would make the Chocolate soap tonight.... I have a bunch of cocoa butter to use.....

Had myself a nice, locally grown brekkie today, Amy's eggs, bacon from the local butcher, and lical milk and cheese. Only thing not local is the coffee....

I suppose it is another week at the Joint..... I should get moving since I am not even dressed. This kickboxing is going to kill me I think, I have no idea how I am going to manage this for 3 nights a week AND get up and function at work.... I had to take a power nap yesterday.

Anyway, I am burning daylight here. Everyone enjoy this beautiful weather!!!

JVLS ~ I know what you mean about 2 big dogs going at it in the house! Mine are still puppies, but a 6 month old St. Bernard and a 5 month old bulldog aren't exactly "puppy-size" anymore! LMAO! What kinda dogs do you have?

Another Be you tee full Morning! BigFam if and when a hen goes broody I'll attempt a hatch or rather she will. Now I'm curious what kind of "job" is mine? The only "jobs" I can think of involves....... TO Not the horse? Whips and chains? Tell DH to lighten up a bit. As always very cute chicky pix! Congrats on all the new hatchings too! Don't think Jim will share his hoops with the pup, you know the ones he wears with his tutu. Cind I'll always bring my nose down to talk to you guys. What difference in the quality of living! I wasn't expecting anything from M&D so this was quite a shock. Yes CC the flood really soured my life. Always thinking about all the damage and how and when I was going to able to fix it. It's still going to take awhile to mentally adjust. I would like nothing better than to return to my old self. Happier and more care free. Hope I can make the transition. I already feel better. I have a few more things to do then I can start enjoying again. I'M GOING FISHIN! Didn't spend too long upstairs yesterday it got hot quick. Had to give the girls oyster shell yesterday. Really need to move that bag out to the coop so it's in my face. I swear everytime I brag them up about their egg production they slow down. Only 5 yesterday. Better go release the Kracken!

Who knows what possesses them to do these things. I guess there wasn't a paper bag on the floor, so this was the next best thing!
