When I did Tylan 100 powder I was told 1/2 tsp per gallon! Seems VERY weak according to your recommendations, but did the trick on my roosters that were having issues after their big fight.

Craigslist complaint. If a person is trying to sell puppies shouldn't they know how to spell the name of the breed of dog they are advertising? Its not chiwawa. AND get your mutts spayed. Geez, there's a bunch of listings for crazy things like rott/shepherd/akita. Why would anyone even let that happen? I'm not against breeding quality, purebred (or designer) dogs, but this is just irresponsible.

Heather , the more I think on it, the less I think the wing is broken.. maybe she hooked a couple of feathers and pulled them out of alignment.. in that case, just turn them back and tape them,, you should not have to tape the wing to the body for this.. I still think it is angel wing..

about the dog names: they list all the breeds as if they have come up with a new breed .. Mutts is what they are.. how about chicken breeds ? one that gets to me is OrpHington.. No "H" needed .. it is pronounced Or Ping Ton .. Not Or Fing Ton ..

we were going to plant a few things in the garden this cool morning.. BUT, the skeeters are out in force !! I might have to bite the bullet and go out when it is good and sunny and hot and git er done.. I have some space left inside the GH so I might as well use that..

I did duramycin powder or oxy-tet powder at 1/2 tbsp per quart (2 tbsp per gallon)for 5 days and cleared it up. Those dosages were given to me from Scott Olsen the vet at Barron. Also for cocci 2 ml of Corid(liquid) per quart.

I am sure your vet gave you the correct dose for an injury. My dosage was for a URI given to me by my bird vet.(Burlington) I also do not know if it is 100 powder or if they make different powder strengths. I will ask.

Irresponsible breeding is the AKC standard for English Bulldog...... any animal that has to routinely have c-sections in order to reproduce should not be considered a breed. It is a genetic disaster. IMHO continuing to breed this line of dog is irresponsible.Yes we do have an overabundance of unwanted puppies from backyard breeders..... but the same can be said for any animal (horses, pigs, birds, ferrets, etc....). Then there are those people who get a dog and then have a baby and they get rid of the dog...... I have been finding a LOT of those on CL. Makes me want to send them an email about when are they giving up the kid when the kid becomes too much to handle????

The way people treat their animals drives me nuts. You get an animal you are responsible for that animal for the remainder of it's lifetime, there are no returns or refunds. I love my mutt and crossbreed (yes a combination of half PB and half PB makes a cross, not a mutt), I would develop the cross into a line of dogs; a guardian dog with hunting characteristics, a win-win!

Well, I suppose I should do something productive today......... since it is cloudy I could go out and weed the front flower beds (ick). I need to get some mulch too...... or straw bales.... maybe I'll make the DH a pie since he is feeling better...... Lemon Meringue sounds yummy....

Your belly looks better than my belly. I think my scale is off and I am about 10 lbs heavier than it shows.

Your goose looks like it has angel wing to me. You can try to fix it but you may have to do it again when it molts. I would personally just leave it. It's not going to be flying around anyway so it won't effect that part of its life.

I tried printing a coupon for Nutrena feed and my printer wasn't installed! And you can only print once so I lost that one! That sucks.

I would say "yep" ..

I often resisted the urge to catch my goose and just yank those feathers out.. or at least cut them back.. anybody here ever did that ? It doesn't bother the goose as much as it does me..

I agree.....that is why I carry with me now..... flyers for the spay neuter clinic that I volunteer at !!! I recently put up about 6 flyers.... where ever I see a bulletin board I will slap one up.

People are $tupid A$$holes....... There are way way way to many of them around !!! Just plain irresponsible.... plain and simple !!
