I will post the picture tomorrow. I was real confident that one of them going to win, and it didn't even place. The one that did win I only brought because my daughter liked it. I'll post both tomorrow and see if you can guess which one was the winner.
Isn't it funny how that works. I can be SO proud of a picture, and it'll end up being the least fave of my client/family. Or I'll ask hubby which picture he prefers, between an edited on and a straight out of camera shot, and he'll pick the SOOC. Sillies...

Nothing to report here really. I had a phone interview that I think I bombed. I completely forgot to prepare myself so I was not on the ball with examples of sticky situations etc..... oh well. I am sure there will be others.

Really tired, killed myself kickboxing tonight....... there is such satisfaction taking your frustrations out on a bag......
Sorry you think you bombed :( hopefully it's not as bad as you think!
I bought myself a bag and gloves around Christmas time and still haven't gotten around to setting it up... hopefully by next Christmas :p

lol :)

I'm just going to do an amprollium maintenance dosing in the waterer. My local feed store, and Farm and Fleet don't have medicated chick starter. So I'm trying to be on the safe side with the chicks I'm having to brood now. The 2 that can still run with a mom I'm letting have regular chick feed. (Although I don't know how much they are getting because Jim the big chickens ARE eating it all because they are fricken chicken A-holes, taking crack candy from babies!)
Thank you!

Every time I open the door to the chicks area, I have quite a few glutton hens that RUN for the feeder of chick feed and just try to garbage it down before I can chase them out.

Stella is doing great, BTW, and yes, she still talks up a storm. And she loves to park her @$$ right in front of me hoping to be first in line for treats. I can't believe I haven't run over one of her toes yet.

OOHHH! And good news: Julie's genetic results came in and there is no 'cancer gene'! So a lumpectomy is being scheduled; it could turn into a single masectomy if they discover that the tumor is spreading to the lymph nodes. So hoping and praying for a contained tumor.

Excellent news, Amy!

DH's mom had a single masectomy last year. It didn't spread to her lymph nodes, but they removed them anyway. She has been cancer-free ever since. I hope Julie will be the same.

Lol- most of the weeding was done by me, but I did get some help weeding between the brocolli, cauliflower, and brussel sprouts. I actually love doing it :)
and I would give my eye teeth for a pecan tree..
X2 Yes, BBP post that award winning photo! Judge, would you please bring your MIL over here to unleash her weed-fury on my garden?? I've never seen such a weed-free garden as yours! Here is what these Muscovy/WH mutts are turning into. Barrish feathering, dark bills like daddy (WH), and they love the water too. They are good divers, such a hoot to watch.

i make more than enough from sale of eggs to pay for their feed? charge 3 prr dozen and go through 40-50 lbs of feed a week. 5 dozen covers it. with 21 hens..even when 6+ are broody..i have 5-7 dozen to sell a week up to 10 doz on a good week
Wow, you are lucky you get $3.00 a dozen... Must be your location. I still only get $2.00 a dozen. But the bar I sell them to is charging at least $2.50 for them.... I can't complain though cause my eggs aren't that big.Don't know why but they seem to be smaller this year???? Anyone know why or what would cause this?
I wish I could, our zucchini aren't quite big enough yet, so mom hasn't made her chicken zucchini bake yet, so excited to get more food from the garden, so far only peas, beans, tomatoes, and of course lettuce and spinach.
Hey Colton, can you share that Chicken Zucchini bake recipe with us all ? My x sister in law used to make a zucchini soup that had chicken in it but it also had apples in it. It was Delicious.
