Hi All...
OK, I was waaay over tired when I posted yesterday. Looks like I skipped a sentence in there! LOL Young son was trying to show his boss/friend how to butcher a chicken. I volunteered the Dominique roo since he's been charging me for months! Even though I have "guard turkeys" and a guard roo, I figured it was time for him to go! Anyway, the guy had done a couple of ducks (wild) but never cleaned a chicken. They did not do a good job and I had to finish cleaning it. He was quite tasty with rice and veggies!

BigFam... Geez, no coming on for you until you get your coffee! I think most of us didn't say anything because you said
"I do have a pair of fancy chicks coming this week. But I'm not saying what, or from where, and defo not how much. You'll just have to "be patient" (robin's favorite trait!)"

vickie... cute cartoon! Sounds like you had a naughty little girl! Hope she straightens out for you!

Jim... Our blackberries are days away from picking too! Got a hand full so far.Don't have too many canes tough.

FT.... Glad you got the boat fixed!

Getting excited about getting Aussies from Terri! Could use some advice from you knowledgeable folks. Keeping in mind how far north I am and the time of year, would I be better to get a couple chicks or pullets/older girls? Terri has mentioned that she might have both available. What do you think?

The most absurd thing happened to me yesterday. I originally got a script for a different pain mes but when I went to the pharmacy they informed me that my Medicaid would not pay for it. I asked them what it would cost to just pay cash. Their response was,"State law says anyone on Medicaid is not allowed to self pay for medications" I was floored as the alternative was Vicodin which makes me ill so ill that they have it in mu Med records that im allergic!!. And as I suspected I took it as the pain is so unbearable and im nauseated to no end. As I was sitting here daughter brought me in breakfast so I have a full stomach to take meds. Im really going to miss her, she moves to her new appt tomorrow.

I can't remember how many we sent back to terris from the hatch. But those would probably be really good ones to get australorps are sydneys favorite. She held them a lot! She begged to keep them all They are probably quite friendly!

Good morning all! Things are busy here. Today is finally a bit of a relax day we went to the game last night. What a bust! I'm now lounging waiting for my sis to wake and call us to come get the kids.
Chickies are very good here. Weve now allowed the littles free range. I'm always nervous something will happen to them! It has gone very well they go in earlier than the rest.

Too much to fomment on everyones posts. But I'm keeping up! And enjoying the ramblings
