TO, tell me more about the coconut oil on the popcorn. Where do you get the coconut oil and how do you melt it? Microwave? I have some here someplace. I forgot why I bought it... Dr Oz suggested it was good for something or other.

Anyway, is it better for you then butter or just make it taste better?

Also, doesn't anyone know ? Is the watermelon in Amy's belly a he or she ? Or is this a surprise package?
I'm getting pretty excited too about my niece who is due Oct 16th. She is having another girl and she wants me to make the new little one a blanket like I made Adalyn. I bought the fabric at JoAnns. It was nursery squares sewn together. Bought a yard of it and then bought a yard of another fabric with raised dots on it. Then I just tacked it every other square together with yarn. Addie loved it so much my niece asked me to make another one so she could wash the first one while she had he second one. Well that didn't go over very well. Now she carries BOTH of them with her all of the time. So anyway, I have enough fabric to make one more but Addie would never let her new baby sister have it because it looks just like hers.

So when I was in Wausau Wednesday I went t JoAnns to look for some fabric to make a couple for the new little one. THEY DONT HAVE ANY !!!!! OMG now what am I gonna do? They said they usually get more baby fabrics in in the spring !!!!! WHAT? Babies aren't born any other time of year..... For crying out loud, these are the same people that believe that only chicks are hatched at Easter too ???? LOL
So now the search will go on. I tried looking online at JoAnns and they don't have a new pattern (or the old one) either. They only sewn squares are not girly colors and it has animal prints on it ie giraffe, tiger or something in browns and orange colors. I could make it with different fabric but the ones she us using get tossed and washed and toddler handled and hasn't fallen apart thus the reason for wanting the same fabric. Oh such problems hey?? LOL

OMG I just got phone message from my Aunt... she had very bad news. I thought she was going to say that my Uncle had died (he is 91 or 92).... nope, my cousin was found dead this morning. He is about 68. It really isn't a surprise since he was diabetic and extremely over weight.
Her phone is busy so I will eat supper and call her back. Poor Auntie.... you don't want to bury your children no matter how old they are. She is my Dads only surviving siblilng. My Auntie Esthers sister (the Auntie you've all heard about)

No baby yet folks, relax. I promise to post when things are in motion. I have been having Braxton-Hicks contractions, the practice ones that start before the real deal.

Although this afternoon I had an appt with my massage therapist and she did some stretches and pressure points that are supposed to stimulate labor so we shall see what the next few days bring. She was slightly appalled at how unflexible I am, even the pregnancy hormones dont' help much; those leg stretches were very uncomfortable!

Frenchie, we only know baby is human (yes, Heather, really.) We like to be surprised. I haven't even had an ultrasound since my first child. If you're still looking for baby fabric, do you have a Hancock Fabrics nearby? I can't believe JoAnn's doesn't have baby prints year round!

Oh, and coconut oil on popcorn is divine! I pop the corn in a non-stick pot, and after I dump the popped kernels into a bowl I melt the oil in the same pot and then drizzle over the popcorn. It's a very healthy oil. I quit using veggie oils and stick with coconut, olive, butter, and lard. I bought a whole gallon of organic coconut oil for about $60 but it lasts us a year and we use some every day for eggs.

Cind if you need comfrey let me know soon, I have a second cutting off my plant that needs to be cut and dried. CS the day I bagged your comfrey it was really humid - you might want to open the bags to let out any moisture that could be in there.

I haven't received the package yet. Do you know when it should arrive?

Looks like next Friday is going to be a chicken train. Rocks to Milton, Iowa Blues to Portage.... :) Think one of the boys will have to go along for a scenic drive.
