Hmm, must be contagious, I was about 200+ posts behind too.
TO sure hope Tommy gets better, poor little guy.
Jim just love the pics of the pups, and good luck with your procedure, we'll be anxious to hear from you after.
Sclark good luck with the insurance co
1876 glad the fire damage wasn't worse and the injuries minor although quite painful, yes as a believer in essential oils Lavender is definitely one of the best for burns, cuts, rashes it has good healing qualities.
Well I'm so done with this winter too!! We were headed into town Thursday and caught just enough of the soft snow on the shoulder to pull us down into a steep ditch
We were less than a quarter of a mile from the house, but it was still $100 to have it towed to our neighbor (our mechanic). The say things come in threes . . . 1. Wednesday night neighbor called we had flames coming out of the fireplace chimney (had it checked out-all OK) 2. Water pipe broke (fixed now) 3. Drove truck into the ditch (not sure what that final cost will be). All done now right?????
All the hatch talk has us planning. With five new Delaware hens we are thinking/hoping to have at least one broody hen this year. With my luck they'll all decide to give a try! When the time comes we will be looking to purchase eggs to set. Hubby would like Black Jersey Giants or Black Australops. We may also be looking for RIR's since we already have four that are about 2 years old and they seam to be such good layers. We have also thought of Wyandottes, we have four bantam dottes and may try the large dotte. Any suggestions, opinions, contacts would are appreciated.
Gee I should post more often so as not to fill up the page . . . where is Frenchy???
