Thanks everyone! I read a blog where a woman uses vinegar and tea tree oil instead of bleach. Anyone heard of that? I don't use bleach.......don't have any.

IDK about the toxic to chickens,, but I think that is the stuff my daughter put on my face once. the fumes were so strong, I could not see for quite a few minutes..
Bleach is cheap, go buy a small bottle..

I am taking it easy.. can't do anything else.. I broke down and took 2 more Tylenol,, then finally the nurse called and suggested I take 2 Tylenol,, and I am supposed to take the doses closer together, time wise ..

Oxine for chickens..

Soap, water, scrub brush and the sun. Paint will work if you use white wash paint. Make sure you use the correct lime.

Yes Jim keep up with the Tylenol, I bet you can take the 2nd dose an hour early and then you wont be starting from zero...but, check with the nurse to make sure... Glad all went well and you are back home!

I seem to remember reading somewhere about upper respiratory... needs two weeks before the germs are dead. I think it was on the Brahma thread.

I guess that I need some bleach and sun to get better. I've been sick for weeks! Tired and drained, coughing, congested, and now sore throat again. It doesn't seem like it will ever go away. Maybe I should start swimming and go tanning? I have a regular check up this Friday, so I'll have the doc listen to my lungs to see if any of this crap has settled.

Hey Deli...my BCM mix laid her first egg yesterday and its pretty dark already. The one today must be a double or triple yolker. It is HUGE! I'd rate it an extra large +.

G.Pa (my dad) had his 71st b'day yesterday. The girls made him brownies with black cherry frozen yogurt and a homemade card. His early b'day present, to himself, was a new phone as he washed his in the washing machine!

I just heard that we've got a larger storm coming in than I thought. Apparently we are looking to get a foot of snow by Monday. FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DD13 has a contest in some far off suburban location on Saturday, we start up at the horse barn on Sunday and have 2 soccer games as well.

Hi All!

Jim... Glad to see all went well! Stay on the mend!

Well, Jon is leaving on a jet plane .... off to Texas then (I think) Alabama. He'll have 2 weeks of sitting around because he boss messed up on a show he was suppose to do. He already had the ticket so off he goes. After that things will pick up. He'll swing up here to pick up some more of his stuff then I won't see him until late June or early July!

Ok irrational panic time.... Today is day 21 and with ten eggs in the incubator, I see only one pip so far. Hoping I have not ruined daughters science fair project somehow....sigh...
Hatch darn it.

Ok 4:0 in the morn...let's see if I can get another hours sleep before the craziness of the day starts.
