My sentiments exactly, Amy. I spent the last few hours trying to catch up on the reading, now I'm only 10 pages behind.

Maybe it would go faster if I skipped all of Jim's posts?

I think I got my first turkey egg of the season! Looks and feels like it, but a little small. I also got a "fart egg" that seemed to have come out with a shelless one. I'm sure the hen was going "WTH" too.LOL

Virus scan run, but nothing found. Anymore you just need to be vigilant and not give out any information over the phone, no matter how legit it sounds.

I am so behind on posts, I only get through the page I'm on.

Thought I would share a picture of our first maple syrup..... brought in from our outside sugar shack. Once we do the final boil down, it should be just over 2 quarts:

Sometimes you need to run more than one antivirus program to find the issue. Adaware and Malewarebytes are both free downloads that will find threats other programs will miss. Clean out your cookies and temp files too.


Ready for the snow? I cannot believe we are going to get dumped on again! The HS Prom is this weekend too. Those kids are going to be so cold......

I am just south of merrill .. where are you ? I have one barred rock hen that I will get rid of.
she was supposed to go yesterday, but she was hiding .. $5.oo takes her if you act fast ..

none of my chickens are over two years old.

where did you get the Seb egg ?  
the man I sold my Sebs to is looking for a Seb Gander..

He lives near Bruce , Wisc,  so not that far from you ..

I have no qualms about letting the puppies go,  but Bo is a special dog.. I really he works out for the new family..  Oh well, if nothing else he will make a wonderful pet ..

Jim, I got my one egg from a friend. Again, I do not have a single goose but hope to hatch this one, under pretense of being a big duck egg. Lol. We shall see what comes off it. Will go in the bator tomorrow.

I agree with bl4 that malware bytes and adaware find more stuff that others don't. Also have cc cleaner on my puter. Running everything once a week to be somewhat sure I don't get anything unwanted. Another good one is Unchecky. It Unchecky all the hooks of additional unwanted programs and tool bars that sometimes get in with the download you're doing. Really useful and all free!

And more snow??? Wasn't it enough that we had like almost an inch of solid ice on the windshields yesterday and it was flaking and blowing all day long?
So far today seems to become a nice day again. And yes, everything is muddy squish that you sink into up to your ankles here. And guess what?! We have ground showing again besides the still almost 2 feet of snow on the ground! Not wanting anymore white stuff. Enough of that already. It's April so snow be gone!

No more sign of the bad kitty we saw this past weekend. Maybe we scared her away for a good long while or even for good! Just not trusting them. So we ordered 2 more Nightguards to put on that side if the fencing. Hey, it worked on keeping the coyotes out the front (unfortunately the deer too)! Well worth the $20/pc they cost IMHO.
