weekend is here! (almost..) woohoo!

so I think that "jewel" might be a "jasper" after all...... I will take pics this weekend to post monday for more input... my little silkie roo "Geo" does a little football shuffle to keep jewel away from his little hens so he probably knows best, or is just intimidated by the size?? either way no way this chicken can go anywhere as is kody's favorite, he's out tothe coop as soon as school is out everyday...

picking up my bull this sunday for my huge herd of belted galloway, lol, 1 cow, 1 yearling heifer, 1 heifer calf.... my "bull" is a calf just weaned.... gotta start somewhere....

I sent a copy of one of the reports to the original owner. I purchased the chickens from someone on BYC from a different State. I asked her to stop selling the birds to others when mine arrived ill. She was still selling them a few days ago. I asked for a refund the day I got them and she sent me a partial refund when I said I was posting pictures of the condition of the birds. I have again asked for a full refund and a refund of the cost of the tests. She asked for a copy of my charge statement. I am waiting for the credit card company to send me a copy.

The bids were kept in the isolation coop. However the first day I had them in a holding pen outside on the grass till I could bath them and debug them. It has been over 10 days so I hope I have not done any serious damage to my flock. So far so good. My birds act like normal goof balls.

He would prefer Royal Palms, but I think he would take any kind as long as they are hens..

Delisha did you pay with paypal? If so they will back you up.you can file a complaint with them or with your credit card company as well. That seller should be jumping at the chance to pay you back! Keeping fingers crossed that your birds escaped this.

Nice chilly evening. But the sunset was real nice here! Just not ready and wanting this cold front (hopefully only a front!). Too early for it to be this cool already.

Still dealing with the bumble foot on my one Pekin. Added 2 rescue Pekins (a pair) to our flock this past weekend and finished the tower to the condos, then cleaned everything. Now I'm sore. Lol.

Nothing else new here otherwise. Still no luck on selling any ducks. Wish we could finally attract a couple of sellers. It's getting pretty full around here.

Off to relaxing and making some cheesecake brownies now. Hmmm. Later!

Hi All!

Nothing new here.

Jim, my biggest worry with the turkey lately is weather she's been able to keep those eggs dry. Nesting on the ground with all the rain we've had it's got to be tough. When she has come out she's looked like hell! My snowy white bird is a muddy brown.

Del, I hope it works out with the breeder. And she stops selling. And starts her flock over. It must be devastating to have to do that after hard work. But maybe necessary.
