Busy as can be here lately...been canning tomatoes here ...another 15 pints of salsa and 21 more quarts of V7...no spinach to make it 8....

If you need diapers for your house chickens...simply use those cheap face masks that you use when in dusty conditions...they even have the elastic for under the wings....just sayin.

Jury duty Wed this week...like I have time for that....guilty I say...LOL!

Think the seahawks are good enough to win another superbowl...the pack needs a lot of coaching yet.

Hi All,

I'm really bummed, pis$ed, upset etc..... I think my flock has Marek's

I seem to have 2 with it. One from Pepper's hatch (the one that for sure was a pullet) and one of Jasmine's. Now I got to worry about the 2 little Orlofs I got. Their pen was sanitized and it's away from the others, but who knows where that $hit is floating around! I hope the pullets I got yesterday are old enough to avoid it. Could I have the address for where to send sick, culled birds please. I want to make sure and find out what else I might have.

Sidesaddle, yes, never get me on one again!!!!! My uncle thought it would be cute if I used the antique sidesaddle in a parade one time. I din not want to ride in the parade, the dress did not fit right, and I didn't have much practice in the saddle! I was soo sore from trying to keep my balance, and my balance leg (right) fell asleep! I hatted it. I have heard of women that can gallop and jump on them, frankly, I wouldn't try!

Cind, I know some do not, but I always feed medicated chick feed in the kennel where only the little chicks can get in. That way they eat it until right around the time they are big enough to start laying. I worry about mareks. As it can even come from wild birds! And we have pigeons in the silo. I hopenthings work out for you! I have a hard enough time getting sore I. A regular saddle! Don't think I am fit enough to even try side saddle
We foundnit used. But it runs great. And just has a very small break in the plastic on the front. But he loves it!

cooties, how long are you going to lead the 4wheeler around before you let him go solo,, You know, like you are doing with Syd and Thunder..

this is going to be a long day,, I couldn't get to sleep.. was still awake at 4AM then when the alarm went off, I could just have gone on sleeping..
have to take Kalib to work by 8. then talk to a guy about fixing Ollie.. then sub bowl at noon..
Kalib goes for his road test tomorrow.. everybody, pray hard that he passes.. then I do not have to truck him around anymore..

going to Dunkin Donuts for coffee today.. have a coupon for a free cuppa..

can you post pictures and describe what the bird looks like and certain features...that would make you think its this disease maybe its something else......
