IDID IT! I DID IT! I DID IT!
Thunder lunged for me! It was a lot of patients. And he had absolutely no clue what I wanted. And I was stumped. Because in the videos when they turn toward you make a motion toward their neck and face until they give up their side. But Thunder refused to move when I did that. He was taught to stand completely still. But I fou d if I swing the end of the lead he moveed away. And I circled him away when he turned in. I am so happy/proud that we could accomplish it! Once he finally got it I had him walk and halt for about twn more minutes. And then I let him go with treats of coarse lol
tomorrow we will work on the sMe thing. But I will add one more pace if thi gs are going well.
I sold three more ducks tonight. I think the guy would have bought every hen I had. But I assured him I will only sell in pairs. Lol

I am now posted to work Saturday. If we can come, it will be later

Where do you get your feed? Is Cashton the name of the store or type of feed?

Oh Jim. I save texts with almost every buyer. That way I remember if they are people I do not want to sell to as soon as they respond to my new ads. Perhaps you could save peoples #'s in your contacts with a little note.

I just got off the phone with my plumber friend.. we are a go for after Oct 4 to completely re-do all the water lines in this old house.
the copper is wearing out.. we keep getting pin hole leaks..
I patched 5 holes within the past year.. or was it 6 ?

we are going with PEC ..

and then I am moving the laundry to the upstairs.. we have a very small bedroom that will become the laundry room and still be large enough for a bed or cot..

Kalib is moving out of there on Oct 4 and going to share an appt with his cousin.. Kalib in my oldest DD's son and Nathan is my youngest DD's son.. neither mother is happy about the boys moving in together,,

Cashton is the mill where the feed is made. They ship to feed stores across the state. It's good stuff I do also feed layena or flock raiser once in a while. I love Kent multiflock too. And Hubbard is a decent brand of feed. I would never buy Sprout or any of those feeds from Farm and Fleet. I don't think I have that many chickens that I can't afford to feed them high quality feed.

Look at the ingredient list. NO plant protein products or grain biproducts listed. Just real, whole ingredients that are actually listed on the tag!

Corn, Wheat, Peas, Crabmeal, Fishmeal and alfalfa (added to the layer ration).

Firewood guy just left after dropping his load....while I need the wood, I'm happy to make it in the front yard...the price is worth it to me. The wood isn't green...and that's a good thing, even though buying green wood is a better deal. Burning wood is my only heat source....gotta love it's heat.
