when the wood is delivered on a pile like Brent got, you have to spend very little time with a chainsaw to cut a week's worth of wood..
I used to get oak slab wood.. It was strapped into bundles.. I just took the chain saw and cut off the ends to length, until I got to the straps.. then I cut the bundles apart and used the tractor and saw rig for the rest..

I have a wood stove only in the garage, now.. I sold my saw rig last week..

We only heat with a small inside wood stove also. And we still need to figure out a way to get some dry firewood for this winter as money is still an issue here.

Stacie, the Agrimaster is crappy food. Yes, cheap but also cheaply made. Our birds must have a good intuition as they don't touch that stuff even if they stay hungry that way. Guess that helped prevent us from having any casualties.

Do u still have duck weed in your ponds Stacie? Then I might just have to grab a few buckets off of you for you get to see a bit water again;) the duckies still keep checking every bucket every day for the good stuff. Lol. You should see their faces when they find it all empty!

Nothing else new here today besides a few sprinkles and drops of rain now and then. Leaves in the trees are changing pretty quick this year but sure looks beautiful!

Trying to trap/catch an injured Canadian goose on a friends property. Seems like it has a broken wing. Will see if we are able to get close to it at all. Not wanting to add it to our flock of geese as SO wants to do but gotta see if we can get it at all.

Still would like to go to the wheeler swap this Saturday. Just not sure how. Hmmm.

Guess I'm gonna make an apple cake now. Chilly enough again tonight and I'm in the mood to bake something. So long...

Good evening. Haven't written in a while but I have read it all. My chickens are doing well. About 10 eggs everyday from 13 hens. I buy cashton layer feed from Franks feed supply in Jefferson. $22-24 for 50#. Then I ferment it. Delicious eggs. My husband and I butchered our first roo a cpl weeks ago. It went very smoothly. Now we are thinking about getting some meaties next spring.
We just were blessed with a Siamese kitten yesterday. It's settling in well. Challenge to get my 3yr old to leave her alone for rest though. I had forgotten how therapeutic the purring is.
I pray you all have a nice evening. Byebye

Hi all--I have not posted in ages either APOW. One opf my gardening clients Grandpa started that feed mill--I guess they just sold it a month or so ago? It is a neat place for sure.
I am not sure if we will be coming to dinner now. DH has said he would go and see to my parents' cottage septic system this weekend. Since my Dad has died Mon has decided to put it on the market and my brothers are throwing all kinds of fits to get it cleaned out. I dont know yet how the weekend will shake out...of course it is supposed to be beautiful!
OK--I need to hit the hay--just wanted to say hi. I am wearing my crazy chicken lady shirt...got lots of compliments on it today so thanks whoever posted it to FB!
Goodnight ans sweet dreams! TerriO

Cind, I searched for small bottles.. whoever is selling them sure is keeping it a secret ..
I found one Kobalt one with a stopper, made in France,, only $28.99/each .. I ordered 2000 of them in your name,, hope that is what you were looking for ..

.........jiminwisc.........
Gee Jim, so nice of you to buy them for me! When will they be here?
This is what I wanted that I can only get a little over 500 of (octagon)....

If I can still get the 500 then I may get 500 of these.....

They're both 1,2 oz. for a little over $1.00 ea. in the numbers I need.

These would be good but I can't find the size I need.

If the buyer is OK with it, I can get these for 1/3 the price.

Notice none have threads.... if I could use ones with threads I wouldn't have a problem!
I've spent hours looking

There just aren't that many places that sell in bulk.

Our local mill is owned by Landmark now, still the best feed I can get on a regular bases. I get Gobbler Grower and Layer and mix them.

That's it..... Night All!
