Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I did not say anything grumpy..

I merely stated the experience I had and am having with my GQF's ..

somebody asked for opinions, if I remember correctly,, and I gave mine .. sorry if they didn't correspond with yours..

the (I can guess) statement was directed to other threads on byc where people have one bad experience and jump to the wrong conclusion..

IMHO means In My Humble Opinion,, maybe you missed that .. or did not know what it meant,.

IMHO
I don't put much stock in experts.. if they have to tell you that they are, then they are lacking in expertise,,

I have done many things in my life very successfully ,, but I will never say I am an expert ..

one thing more,,

listen to CC ,, and don't start with me ,,
I can be your best friend or your worst nightmare ..

sincerely , jiminwisc............

The police chief in a town we lived in called roundabouts "drunk catchers".

I guess drunk drivers tend to get caught up in the center island landscaping...

Birdmam, we have a sportsman. And love it

things have been good here. I am happy to say our temps don't seem to be quite as cold as yours.
Fhicks are stilm hatching away. Moremgo into lockdown today.
I also dislike those roundabouts. Hubby laughs at me every time I have to use one. I will admit, I am definitely one of those people that makes it dangerous for others to drive through. I get tunnel vision. And don't know what to do. And he yells at me. FOLLOW THAT CAR!! And I have no clue what car he is talking about. And it turns out he was telling me to follow some truck!

is anybody doing the Easter Hatch?
I'll be participating in the Easter Hatch if I can get any of my hens to go broody. Should be fun!

Was another good day in the woods with the saw. Looks like I'll have a few days to be inside doing the paperwork thing.
Chickens were out until about 5 p.m. They must have seen the same forecast, and were enjoying the outdoors as long as possible.
Full disclosure...My birds like to be outdoors because I have to plow a portion of the back yard to get to wood boiler & wood pile.
Plow along the woods line & they will scratch for hours in the leaves. Of course it also helps that we only have about 2" of snow on the ground.
No snowmobilers this year....has certainly impacted DW business.

the crazy part is my well is four feet down...along with the heat sources....oh wait....COULD IT BE...YEP THAT LIQUID STUFF.....

WATER
Oh Birdman I feel your pain! I too put a 250 watt heat lamp in my well pit last night...no dice! Today I put in a heater and by the time 2pm rolled around I HAD WATER!!! I was really glad too cause it take a whole bunch of muscles and a lot of trips to carry 125 gallons of water!

Let's hope that then temps will be getting warmer after this week. I know that I am surely ready.
