Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Harvest Day Here...finally bagged a nice Tom after 4 days of hunting.....caught up on the posts and wish everyone the best with all going on.

My daughter hunts next week and dad is under pressure to call sweet and true again...LOL!

My daughter is again fighting fires on the reservation where she works....loves the $35 hour hazardous pay.

Jim....I'd love to know how the round abouts went going into fleet at GreenBay.....prolly 3 or 4 I'm thinkin.

Stay Safe...bigz

good afternoon,

the trip went well,, I was up at 3AM so I laid down on the couch and took a short nap after I got home,,

Cooties, hard telling when these eggs were collected nor how long before they were brought to me..
they have started hatching.. 18 out and 98 to go .. I have two brooders going, so I will be transferring some soon..

I will take a picture of the call ducks prolly tomorrow ..

birdman's Mom and Aunt are really nice and happy go lucky.. none of us knew that there are two Fleet & Farms in GB.. about 20 minutes apart.. of course we each went to the other one..
They ended up at the one I wanted to.. but our GPS took us to the wrong one..

I got two males and 7 females..

DD Barby did all of the driving..

she zips through those round-abouts like they are not even there..
Brent, all I can tell you is keep to the left .. I think..

I am bouncing around from subject to subject.. I guess I am not quite awake yet..

Brent, hope your daughter can keep out of harm's way .. this looks like a prime year for fires..

these are two of the strips I cut to glue onto the holding tray..

...
this is how the wood looks after it is Gorilla glued to the holding tray,
NOTE: the sides with the posts for stacking do not get the strips..
A dot of glue at each flat spot next to the egg hole.. wet the wood with water and clamp it for a few hours..

these are the 48 egg trays.. they handle most chicken, guinea and sometimes duck eggs..

when I stack the trays in the bator, I have some that I have removed the stacking posts that I put on top..

I can fit 12 of these trays into each of two of my bators ..

Jim, you stay to the right in roundabouts. You go left and you will have a head on.

Speaking of turkey hunting, my daughter went out this morning and bagged.......

400

And then.....

400

Not too shabby!

I am glad you got the calls Jim! Are you keepong some? Or all for the friend?
I went to a friends to help her with some yard work. It was noce to hang out and catch up :)
was motivated enough to come home and redo Sydney & Blakes garden for them!

Those look the same as the ones I have other than the color is white and some pink. I will make some strips to fix the issue. Thanks for sharing Jim!
