Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I have had strange things in tires. one that I remember was a hollow piece of tubing , looked like a pop rivet ,,that was a perfect air release for sure..

I think I forgot to mention,, On Dec 5, I saw a fuzzy caterpillar crawling on the cement in front of our garage..

chickens layed 4/6 Sat..

bowling today,,, after someone comes for a rabbit cage, they say ..

I've seen several fuzzy caterpillars in the barn and in the garage. Tough little critterz.

Great job on the tree bl4...

Hope everyone's kitties are feelin better. It's amazing the longevity they have compared to dogs. Must be the nine lives they have.

Amazing cw what tires can pick up. When I was working on the road, my big work truck picked up a stove bolt into the Michelin steel radials...I could feel the thumping when the head hit the ground....held air until I made it 40 miles to a Pomps Tire.

Many years ago I blew a tire on the Capital Beltway (I think the speed limit was only 50 mph in those days). I was shocked to see a pair of pliers embedded in the tire when I took it off to change it.

Christmas tree is done!

An update on those rascal kittens; they are doing well, I think they are about 12 weeks now and they sure do seem to get into a lot of trouble! Like 2 yr olds, they are into everything! We named the tortie Tink and the Tuxedo Eloise (she behaves just like the Eloise at the Plaza). Jinx is still a bit on the fence about these new additions, Annabelle has completely accepted them and loves to play chase with them.

Nothing much new here.

Beautiful tree, BL4! Come over and put mine up when you have a few minutes!

A friend got a flat tire when he hit a dead possum on the road. The hollow bone went through his tire.

way back when,, I worked at Weather Shield Windows in Medford.. my boss borrowed his boss's car to go to Madison. brand new lincoln at the time,, on the way home near the Mosinee airport there were police cars parked with flashing lights.. Dan pulled into the far lane to go by them and he ran over the dead deer lying there.. punctured two tires.. if is funny now, but he was sure embarrassed then..

It is sure late in the year to see fuzzy caterpillars, I thought.

Some guy from Schofield went fishing in his boat this weekend.. just so that he could say he did it in Dec..

We have ours out back behind the shed, pilling up like firewood. I did hear if you take them apart into small pieces, you can cover them with other stuff and the landfill doesn't care about stuff they can't see. We have not done that yet, our luck, we would get caught. When we bought the property 2 years ago, there was about 4 out behind the shed at that time. They are still there.

are you talking about old tires ? or possums ?

good morning,

I do not think our new rabbit is a pllegmish giant..
she is pure white .. according to the pictures I found, I think it is a New Zealand,, Is this a common breed ?
I am guessing she weighs about 9 pounds..

I think I will work in the garage again today and try to make room for the tractor..

anybody here need or want a couple of 4 drawer filing cabinets ?
Otherwise I am going to send them along with the junk metal collector guy..
