Hi All.

Yep, sitting in ICU.

My heart was going kinda wonky. They got me on a new med. now and it seems to be working. After they can get some "sludge" out of my left lung I'll go to a regular room for a couple of days, then home.

Thanks for your thoughts for Jasmine. She hatched a coop full over the years. A very good hen and mom.

Jim, glad your going to put along for another year. Next time ask for the extended warranty.

what is a good way to spend the day before Christmas ? why, do some plumbing.. I changed the flush valve in the toilet and put in a new shut-off valve under the bathroom sink..

I suspected the old flush valve was just plugged at some point,
so after I put the new valve in, I took the old one apart.. found the screen, and it was plugged.. got it all back to ship shape, now we have a spare in case the new one poops the bed ..

the snow still hlasn't melted .. it was raining and then turned to sleet and then to snow.. all the trees are trimmed in white.. very pretty and clean looking..

company is due to start arriving soon.. some went to 2 PM church first ..

Cind, I hope you get better quick. No snow here Jim. The birds are still digging through the little bit of grass. I am glad your doc thinks you are well. But you better have jumped in the shower before your company arrived today!!

what a nice time we had with the offspring and their friends.
they came, ate talked and left just before the football game started. DD Brenda had to get going, and everybody else had to catch a ride with her, so they all left at the same time..

Annie's sister did remember to make watergate salad for me..

we had way more food than the 10 of us could eat..

and staying true to form, DD Barby took home plenty of the left overs..

No Brent, don't want Paul to feel he has to wait on me, at least not much. He puts in 60 hard hours at work and already makes up for a bunch of stuff I can't do anymore. I worry about him!

BTW... Christmas Eve is our anniversary!

Merry Christmas everyone. So glad things are getting better Cindy and you are heading home soon. Lots of food and fun here and now I am wiped out. We had family here for past two days and heading to Illinois tomorrow for the day. Chicken run is s muddy mess with all this rain..just no place for it to go. Yuck. But the girls are starting to,pick up laying which is good.
