Yep, Christmas was goodie here...lots of food...and the best part was lots of love shared with some excited conversation the way relation has....praise the Lord for our time to share thoughts, eh!

Merry Christmas all. Been a long but good couple days and tomorrow is going to be the longest yet. But I'm glad to be seeing all my family.

Wondering what will happen on my birthday in a couple days, if we're still able to climb out of bed after tomorrow's all day run to both big family Christmases.

Gotten such wonderful gifts but mostly I'm just grateful for my family and for my Grandpa doing so well in the care center.

I'm ready for bed after being up until after 5 this morning getting Christmas things ready.

Hi All!

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and will have a good weekend!

I should have stayed in the hospital. 10 am they said I could go home any time. I said OK and it would be awhile for hubby to make sure I could get in the house (flooded driveway) and things were OK there. 2:30 I told them I could go. They lost a med I came in with .... a $289.00 med! The couldn't send me home with 2 new meds I should have Fri. and Sat. because their pharmacy was closed. Only 1 pharmacy in town open... not ours. Didn't get out of there until almost 5. Well, at least I can SLEEP!.... not! Pushed myself, dizzy, breathing OK, but, well, "other issue" worse that thought.

Chilly day today compared to what we are use to. The pullets are really laying well without any additional light...3 for 5 today ...not bad.

Watched Twain last night on pbs university show about starting with chickens...good to see him again, even if it was on the tube. He made one of the annual bashes.

Hi, it is kind of quiet here because of the Holidays,,

Just stick around and eventually somebody will speak up about the ducks.. I used to have lots of muscovys.. but I have downsized and have only 7 chickens, 6 guineas and a pair of geese. and the two Maremma LGD"s..

I will be getting 100 Cornish Rocks again in the spring..

I am not getting any ducks, but I also live in SW Wis. Near Richland Center. Wonder how close we are?
