Hey all!

Man you all talk a lot! lol.

Well, the inlaws left...which is good. I think I may have said that in my last post. They will be back, of course. Their dumb cat is still here, and grabbed a chicken patty DS didn't eat out of the garbage and chewed it into a MILLION pieces on my living room floor.

I think I'm not going to carpet clean until after the kids are not clumsy with food. But that will be soooo many years, I am sure i'll give up well before then. I may not carpet clean while still pregnant, as it's so hard on my back but once the baby is born i'm sure i'll want it cleaned.

So, I finally got my Ipod updated with the new password to the router, and then it all of a sudden FREEZES! DH starts laughing at me (thanks dear.) Saying thats what I get for buying Apple products. (He hates apple.) It lasted long enough to make me worried about what i'd do if it was really frozen, as it wasn't turning off. Then as hes in his fits of laughing, it resets and goes back to normal. In your FACE. I love my Ipod touch..I keep all my bills organized on there (when to pay them, and how much) as well as e-mail checking, fb checking, homework log, etc. etc.

I emailed my english prof cause well...I haven't even looked at my english homework yet. I told them that I was unable to get the book (which is true) due to my clinicals being over the time the bookstore is open. Thursday I was able to go and get the books, and I told her that I would make up all my English homework this weekend. She said that was fine, and I'm glad. I was worried she'd drop me from the class as i've done nothing as far as homework. Sorry, was busy busy busy!!

My dad has been texting me and waking me up at all hours of the night/morning. I told him to not text me after 8pm yesterday, as I am usually in bed winding down, if not asleep. So, he texts me at 8:30 to say hes sorry, waking me up

I put my phone on silent. But I can only do that on the weekends, during the week I need to have it on as it's my alarm! He sent me a text at 11:30 at night of the snowstorm, and then again at 6:30 that next morning (when I was enjoying a toddler-free snow day). I coulda killed him!

Me and DH are moving our Valentines day to our old anniversary (the day we started dating) which is April 23rd. Seeing as we have no money and I'll be in clinicals that entire day anyways. I told him, plus the resturants won't be packed! And I should be working..so money money money!

We are way excitied that this is the last month of struggling with our expenses. We have somehow managed to keep our head above water this last year, and it's so....refreshing to know its coming to an end. I know I talk about it a lot, but we HAVE been talking about it for so long..so now that it's practically "around the corner" it's exciting. We have some really strict financial goals to get us back on track this year, and i'm excited to follow through with those. We want to:

Pay off my car (This will be done with DH's inheritance money...which we found he is getting more than the original amount...we aren't sure how much
Pay off dental bill (This with me working and taking my additional income and paying things off)
Pay off Discover card (Done with job income)
Pay off Capital one (Done with job income)
Pay off glasses bill (Done with job income)

This will free up about $400 bucks a month in income we are losing.

Also:
Put school check in savings
Put any additional money on inheritance into savings (Up and beyond his initial amount, we are putting in savings...be it 100 bucks or 1000 bucks.)

Sorry, sometimes I just need to lay it all out to make sure i'm on track. Seems like we are!

I had buyers for my 2 black orpington cockerels, and they were supposed to pick them up this weekend. One of them layed a huge egg this morning. Oops!

It's soooo much fun to fondle the fresh seed packs....

The flock sure had a blast outside today. It was a non stop crow fest here today. I was gonna take a long trek with the the snowshoes today...I went a couple hundred yards and figured out that the tennis shoes I had on fit the shoes crappy, so I headed back and gave the idea up.

Pretty funny Raim...me and Suzie provided the meal for the church brotherhood thursday night....suzie made chili and homemade buns with Jim's bread roll receipe. It was hit with everyone. We usually make the chili nice and spicy....everyone had a clear sinus.... I was calling it 2 alarm, but most said they thought it was more than 2 alarm...

I'll get to go to bed sometime tonight, I hope. I'm on the last batch. I cheated with the 1st 5 batches, I used the frozen bread loaf. just let it thaw and shaped it. decided I needed more so I dug out my MIL's bun recipe and the bread machine, let the machine do the hard stuff then shaped raise bake!

takes to long with the machine all those batches! but you can definitely tell the difference. night all!

Well I am having the car day from heck...

. I am not sure how many of you have ever been in the military OR have had a vehicle that just got problem after problem... One that is called a "Hanger Queen".
That is my Audi. It has been a great car nearly a year. I need to get new muffler hangers for two of the sections, wiring it up off and on just wasn't cutting it so I knew I had to take care of it.
AND my battery had gone dead, It wasn't holding a charge after a very cold night, and after jump starting it, and driving it around the block a bit... (that is when we discovered the muffler looseness).

And then on another COLD night or one of the last times about a week plus ago.. my passenger side window got busted from some ice hanging from a tree branch that fell. Insurance is covering it, but it's taking a while
to get the window..
SO... fast forward to today, I bought a NEW battery on Thursday, a special 100+ dollar one specific to my type of car. I spent a while UNDER the car (which is not easy after shoulder surgery), getting strapping material bolted on to the hangers so it will quit coming loose.
I got a piece of plexiglass to put in the window to keep the snow out. And then I put in my brand new shiny battery.. Car starts up. YEAH!!.... I move it out to the street....still kept it running.
Shovel some snow to widen its parking spot, drive it down the road and back which is several blocks.. back it up into its spot... and decided I needed to move it forward again. I had turned it off.
Click... click.. NOTHING!! NOTHING not a gosh darn thing, no lights, no radio, dead dead dead!

SO I check it, nothing is loose, nothing is amiss..
DH comes out I have gotten his car pulled up to jump start it, I get the radio to come on, but if I turn on the lights, NOTHING..
It won't even take in enough juice to keep the radio going...

I haven't run anything, I started the car ONCE. It had its plastic covers on until I hooked it up.

SO we go to return it.. and they are closed. They closed at 3 o clock.
And won't open till monday.

We went to some friend's tonight and one worked at Kaiser Ford's parts/service dept. in Madison, he knew right off the bat. Bad cell..

Grrrrrrrrr SO now I think I just want a refund and go to farm and fleet and get a non specialized one, or Walmart .

I love my car and now all this STUFF is happening...

Good SUPER BOWL Sunday Morning Everyone! Raimnel how about tan shirts? Go Pack! White doesn't stay white very long on me. Go Pack! Jim didn't know about your msn set up. Go Pack! We ended up going wireless and getting rid of our dial up and land line it turned out to be a little cheaper too. Go Pack! WICc I hate when things like that happen. Go Pack! Just when you think you've got everything handled wham! Go Pack! Light snow here this morning, don't think we're supposed to get much. Go Pack! Slept in this morning but it was a rough night for both of us. Go Pack! L has a sinus infection and the pills have her draining and coughing so she's getting better! Go Pack! Better get my hinder moving. Go Pack Go!!!!!
