Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Check out the new T-shirt Purina is offering for us to wear at chick days. None of my coworkers understood what it meant. They were all like "this doesn't make sense. We don't want that one" lol

I'm south of Janesville but I have some birds I'm trying to move I have four silver laced wyandottes and two Isa browns if you're interested all turn a year in May. They're laying great just too many birds and we're butchering our wyandotte cockeral. Could maybe meet up in Madison/Sun Prairie if you want to wait until we go to get our cat fixed.

Also trying to rehome a white silkie pair and what I believe is a bbr oegb.

Agreed, it would definitely make an perfect white elephant gift (or raffle).

Evening all!

Got 4/7 today.

Can't wait for the warmer weather coming our way. I am so tired of cold, gray, drab weather. Blah!

Nathan and I are looking online for land purchases, mostly in warmer areas, just to get an idea of what areas would make sense to buy land versus areas that are being mined and destroyed, leases, oil rights, etc. One day we'll have our farm. Until then, my chickies in the back yard will do.

good night all

Beautiful Day Today.....hope it's a sign of more to come. Collected 5 eggs today for the first time since Winter started. I've been getting 3 pullet eggs everyday all Winter, now 2 eggs came from the mature hens to add to the numbers. The Sun and warmer temps have them all quite talkative also, and the numbers should continue to improve now little by little.

Great shirt BBP....gosh, everyone with chickens knows how the math works, don't they?

Single digits here again tonight. Won't be long and they will disappear till next year.

Yeah she's a chilly one. Supposedly down to 7 tonite here. Today is day 4 since I put eggs under my broody and I candled a few just now before I head to work. Pretty cool seeing the spider looking veins growing inside.
