Okay all, I am still around, just been busy taking care of business, not much new but we are happy and healthy and busy in the garden...

Boy from the time I went to sleep u til now it sure warmed up. It was borderline chilly in the house now it's hot. Gotta get some grocery shopping done today and some clean up in the yard. Definitely not gonna over do it tho. Gotta save some energy for work tonite. I'm sure looking forward to the 3 day weekend coming up. I might even be a rebel and make it a 4 day just because I can

the pictures seem to go wherever they feel like. I wanted tefore on top..
but you get the idea..
this is what I/we have been working on for the recent past..
cleared all the brush, and trimmed all the trees high enough to drive the tractor through without tearing the exhaust pipe off..

all that greenery is my new lawn that I planted a few weeks ago..

early this morning I wiped the dew off of the side window on the car.. it felt like there was some frost in it. I might have been imagining it..

I did a lot of that same kinda work under my pines in the back. Boy was that a ton of work. I made the mistake of doing it when it was hotter than hell. I had a couple brush piles about like yours to burn. Almost time to finish grocery shopping.

I worked mostly when it was cool in the morning, or just before the sun went down.
one good thing about it, I was almost always in the shade except for when I was working right along the south edge .
that white chair got a good workout.
