I just wanted everyone to know the arrangements for Cindy's husband Paul. Anyone who knew them/met them it would be fantastic if we could post something on the link for the funeral. This fellow chicken lover has been through he!! this year and needs our support.

Back to the grind tonite. Kinda hoping it's only a 60 hour week this week. I'm exhausted and could use a slower week. Gonna do some looking for a flat bottom boat and trailer to make my own duck boat. I think I'm addicted to duck and goose hunting now.

Good morning! We are finally getting some sunshine here. That ought to put the photovoltaic panels to work.
I am planning to pull the bean plants today and get that bed ready for some cover crops.I still have All Blue potatoes and sweet potatoes to dig.
I have two pullets that have started laying. The rest of the flock is in full on molt.
Have a great day everyone.

We have an 11 year old successful bear hunter in the house!!!!!!! He did great. They were using dogs and the whole hunt lasted about 2 hours. Now to finish deboning and packaging the meat. The hide is already with a taxidermist. So, so, so proud of my little man. And if anyone finds that they have way too much money weighing down their pockets, we are in the process of getting my son a track chair like that in the first photo. The one he is in is a loaner from a great organization, but we want to be able to let him get out into nature any time he wants, not just on their calendar.
