Well I dont know about you guys(BCC and Jim--just so you know who I am talking about

)...all riled up about nothin'! BL4--that looks like my dream place too! I didnt think the price was too bad...I wish there had been more info about the house though...place looked like it was nicely kept. Oh what I could do with 35 acres!!!
There was another thing I wanted to comment about...oh yeah, thanks to whomever posted that link to the swaps again. (hope you saw it this time Frostchef--or maybe I posted it before you came on?) So hard to keep track!
Tomorrow I am heading to Madison or Watertown for gluten-free supplies. I really need to bake! I blame it on BL4 for showing us all her baking successes! Man that pineapple upside down cake looked great! (and I dont even really like that cake!) You did good friend!
I could really go for a nice chunk of venison...I think I might just have to show up at Bigz and Annie's place around dinnertime!

I bet I wouldnt pull away from the table hungry to be sure.

Terri- try the Silly Yak bakery!!

So...any one else having their dogs chew on themselves? Or just mine.. I love (NOT) giving my dogs baths in the middle of winter.
Although I did make a great din din for the DH who is training HIS bosses on a new system.

Panko breaded talapia w/ lemon pepper seasoning added to the Panko. Beef rice, and garlic bread.

Tomorrow, it's venison burger stew/soup.

LOL- Jim and BCC, I have to laugh at you too. I was 8 pages behind and laughed at your banter back and forth. Then I had to go and read the thread, just to see for myself. I'm glad I have cochins to do the hatching for me. So far they have had a hatch rate of 95%. Not bad.
So sorry to hear about the bad stuff that happened to everyone in the past couple days. FM and CP- sorry for you loss and sorry you had to see that.

BL4-great looking cake. I made a coffee cake on Sat that was how you described your pineapple cake.
Well yesterday I got 10 EGGS!!!!!! I girls finally started to lay again, with one or two here and there. But yesterday they all decided to let loose. That is the most eggs I have ever got. I'm wondering if this is going to be a pattern or if they will all start going broody again like last year.

Oh well as long as I don't have to go get store eggs. With everyone talking about hatching. I makes me was too. I really want more quail, but I really want some splash, blue, mottled, millieF, cochins. So if anyone has hatching eggs or chicks let me know. I will drive and get them, well the chicks, eggs can be shipped. If I don't get any by the fondy swap, I'll have to go and buy some.
FM- could you ask your friend if she is selling any eggs from her pair of mottled? THey were Beautiful! Oh and let her know if she ever asks that her quail are doing well and are my favorites out of the few I have.
