One of these days I will take pictures of the different set ups on the quack digger. Hiller discs. drag, basically I use the drag for "chisel plowing" . when I started this garden from sod, I never used a turning plow. lots of work with the quack digger and rototiller. lots of rock picking too.

I just got a call from Annie. she will be done with work in about an hour. I am going to Harbor fright. that is only a couple of blocks from the Log Cabin so we are going to meet there for breakfast. I better get moving..

Hi all,

not much cushion in a car like that.
now with the cars that brake for pedestrians etc.. I am thinking there will be a rise in rear enders.. getting hit by the cars without automatic braking..

Spent an hour moving tv's around. Kalib bought a smart tv.
60 Inch. wall to wall coverage.. his bedroom is not much larger than a normal bathroom. I think he will have to stand outside to watch it.

I couldn't get a spring valve for my pneumatic ratchet so I went to Harbor fright and bought one for $25.oo. the pawn shop had an off brand, used , for $25.oo . no warranty ..
as long as I was at it, I bought a set of high impact sockets, too

I have 53 chicken eggs to set tonight. I didn't turn the bator on yet. it takes only a half hour to warm up.

got 40# of russet seed and 20# of reds today.
30 cents per pound.

got the shed roof half shingled. At This rate I'm gonna retire on this dang thing. Just got home from bingo in Merrill and gotta get to sleep. Gonna finish the roof tomorrow it looks like. Neilsville swap next Saturday. We may take a ride there and see what I can find for a few purdy layers.

Merrill huh, didn't know you were that close to me.

When do we go into posting "lockdown" for the transition to a new format?
Sounds like this evening?

We seem to spend a fair amount of time at the Harbor Fright.... have a set or too of those sockets if you find you are ever needing one Jim.

good back into fallish weather morning.,

Corey, take a lot of cages along to the swap,,
It would be a crying shame to have to leave a nice one behind
just because you ran out of cages.
Roof not done ? Bingo ? I think I spotted your problem..LOL

Thanks for the offer Sonja , It is not that I don't have a half of a 5 gal pail full of sockets.. they just looked so neat all lined up in a row and all in order.. LOL

I have a friend who is a collector of junk and such.
he has every size up to some you can fit your fist into.
and he has duplicate sets. No less than 50 sets of all sizes.

I'll go into withdrawal ..
