Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Jim, my Calls were killed by a pair of weasels two years ago. I need to do some research on the ordinances here..... I think that if we can have horses, we should be able to have some birds. The place up the road has sheep.

I do miss those birds, they were so entertaining. If I had chickens here, they would be super fat feasting on crickets! My lawn jumps with the number of crickets in it!

Right now, I need to focus on getting the other house sold so the DH can have his dream garage/shed. Then I will worry about the extras like a camper and chickens......

yes it was awesome to watch Ron fly..

Mel, shouldn't that read, camper OR chickens ?

I hope to get some more done on the shed today.
time is really running short. now they are talking rain for the next couple of days.
.....jiminwisc.......

good fff morning,
it is ok to wake up now.

I finished the rest of the wood strips for the metal roof this AM.

looks like rain is coming soon, so I didn't get out any electrical tools.

just have the sub fascia to put on yet.
then the metal and the roof is done.

prolly do that on Sunday.

Yep, happy FFF back at everyone. Gonna be baked haddock and Cajun fries tonight. The weather is a bit iffy for the outside cooker today.
Have fun at the new place bl4....hope the wega place sells fast for you guys too.
Youth gun hunt this week end...maybe get the rest of the spuds and carrots out of the ground. I'm staying out of the woods for the next couple days.

Stay safe...bigz

Hi everyone took me quite a while but I've finally found where we moved to!

How is everyone and their birds and other animals of all shapes and sizes?

Jim been wanting to ask you build whizzbang pluckers right?

DH2B is building us one.

Hi guys, I've been quiet since school started and then stopped getting notifications. I've missed all the daily doing updates!

Yesterday was a sad day here. I was careless and left 1 of my dogs where she had access to the birds. She was always watchful but never chased, so I thought it'd be ok. I'd had a flat tire and was waiting for an Uber to go to work. Even though I knew she was there, I didn't take the time to go get her and hoped for the best. I feel really crappy about it.

I'm going to be reducing my flock to the actual legal limits, so if anyone wants 3 Sebastopol geese that are a little beat up but thankfully not seriously injured message me with an offer. I'm fairly certain it is 2 geese and a gander. I have 2 Muscovy ducks early June hatch date. These have both been injured but should pull through just fine. They are staying quiet and sleeping more, but are moving around and eating and drinking. I also have 10 pullets not quite laying yet with June 21 hatch date. I have 10 mostly pullets from fall tsc chick days, unsure of hatch date, but probably 6 or 7 weeks?
1 really cute bantam cockeral June 21 date. He was unknown to be male when I culled other males.
I have just 3 that are currently laying, but most of these will be laying fairly soon. Make an offer, Milwaukee area.

Some of mine are wyandotte
Hey everyone...haven't been on here in a while but life is a little crazy with kids and sports. Was our first year doing 4h at fair and dd has a grand champion cockerel bantam. So expectations are high for next year.
We are looking for either show quality Dominiques or standard wyandottes...anyone know of any wi connections?
