I want to expand my garden but I'm not sure if that will happen this year. So much going on. We'll see though. Just need a day to work and to steal my parents rototiller.
Still haven't decided on what to grow though.

at the end of summer I said I wasn't going to have a garden in 2018, maybe just a small corn patch..
maybe I will feel differently in the spring.

Fish Fry Friday to all! Hope your week went well and happy to see the month of Jan in the rear view mirror.... Tonight it's baked Haddock and scallops with sweet potato and home grown potato Cajun fries.....amazing how big the kettle of home made chicken soup is, that Suzie made yesterday! Folks that never tasted the difference between home raised birds compared to the store bought stuff are missing everything tasteful in regards to chicken soup....

persistent snow today, it didn't snow hard, just light and steady. still we got at least 4 inches and it looks like it is still accumulating ..

I broke down and lit a fire in the shop stove.
I cut out the pieces for my drill sharpening jig.

I have some of them glued and clamped.
using original Gorilla Glue. have to keep it clamped for 24 hours..

here are pictures of the parts.
all angles are 31 degrees.

these two pieces are glued and being clamped until morning. they are the brace for the vertical block which will have arocker mounted on it.

this is the vertical block. this end is angle cut.
hard to see that in this picture.

this is the rocker. the drill bits will be held on it while sharpening them.

Planning my garden, as it will be the very first time I will actually have room to have a garden! I just need to plant Black Walnut compatible plants..... Plotting when I am going to start my tomatoes too..... need to get my greenhouse up and running.

Looking at black raspberries and grapes right now..... my FIL gave me some wine making books a few years ago, would like to try and make my own. The black raspberries are my favorite; I had been picking them in Mosinee but now that drive would be cost prohibitive.

Still trying to get the hubs a job down here. I feel like we are dating again except there are kids in the mix!

killing time until the super bowl game starts.
glued and clamped a few pieces of the drill jig this morning.
moving the puppies out into the vacant chicken coop. they have been residing out in the sun porch up until now. but they can't be contained to a small section anymore. they are great escape artists..
