Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

it is 39F here and snowing like hell ..
does this mean the growing season is over ??

Brent, if you want to see deer, just ride with Annie at night. we came within a couple of feet from hitting a nice buck last night..

That would be tough on the car for sure....no hunting today with the nonstop rain...sure am glad it's not snow.
Looks like da Bears are gonna win today and remain in first place.....they sure are a improved team this year, while the pack is going in the wrong direction with a worse team this year.

I was talking about my new tractor a little while ago. Here is a picture.

It looks a lot bigger on the trailer than it really is.
Here it is next to Our Compact Kuboda - which is a L4740 HSTC

I would not mind having either one of those tractors..
I looked up pumpkin cake roll on utube.
the first tutorial was just OK,, then next one by Joy of Baking was excellent.
If you cannot follow her directions, then you should not be in the kitchen..
I also looked up pound cake by J. o. B..
no packer game today,, and not much to watch on the TV.
I need some tutorial about planting garlic..
........jiminwisc.....

I prefer to plant garlic on Columbus Day Jim and then cover with a light layer of straw...that allows it to sprout some before the ground freezes...in spring, remove the straw and watch it grow after the soil thaws and warms up.
Nice tractors wyo...still shopping for my new one, but prolly Kubota....however the neighbor said I should look at New Holland first before I buy.

Oooh, what pretty tractors! Congrats!

I agree--it sure got cold out there quickly. I hope we can still get garlic in after we move! We're getting to the finish line with all of this and I'm starting to get worried. We have some box hunting and a lot of packing left to do! I'm so happy to be done with the party, but was glad I did it.

Also...sports go sports! ;)

I was looking at the Kubota L3901 wyo...I'll have to check out the LS....I'm not familiar with them at all. I see they have a dealer in Bonduel and advertise more tractor for less money.....warranty is important to me with what they cost etc....

I figured you were looking for something bigger than my subcompact LS. The Kuboda we bought was bigger than what DH started out looking for, but the price they were willing to sell it for was good. It had a little more HP, a cab and full warranty - but, gasp, it was the last one the dealer had on the lot that was that model year (2 years old) and Kuboda was changing something on the tractor with the new model year.
the LS we got was $16,600 as pictured. Loader, mower deck, and backhoe included. We also bought a snowblower for it from the dealer, but the snowblowers aren't in yet. On the way home, we stopped at Fleet Farm and bought a tiller, lol.
