Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Thanks for your concern BL4. Been super busy with the huge garden I added to the program. It was a ton of work, but the harvest was worth it. I ended up with over 100 Winter squash. I hope to get the last ones off the ground tomorrow. I gave bushels of maters away, as well as green peppers, green beans, beets, pickles, carrots, and the squash will also be given away.
Jim and Annie are doing well. They stopped by for some veggies when they ran to C-ville for some grape plants. He was one of the lucky ones that scored a cabbage.
I'll give him a nudge, that folks miss him.

I have 6 cockerels to butcher too. I hate the deed, but it's over due already, and on my list to do soon.

Thanks...... pretty sad I have to check the obits to make sure you are all kicking.......

Adventure awaits..... no truer words have been spoken....... looking forward to the next chapter for sure.....

I talked to Jim yesterday, and he is unable to post on byc with his phone that he uses all the time now. He hopes to get downstairs to his computer room and fire up the computer and post again.
Grandson shot a nice 8 point, Son shot a nice 5 point, and I'm still hunting. Nice to have decent weather for spending time in the woods.

It’s official. House is on the market. Went live yesterday. We have 5 showings for Saturday and one so far on Sunday.

I am exhausted.

Looking forward to the end of the tunnel.........

The waiting is torture.......

Poor Shelby has an abscess in her neck. She is on antibiotics and a pain killer right now. Always worrisome when a pup is ill. We do not know what caused it either, there is so much swelling in her neck the vet could not see a foreign body. Cannot rule out cancer 100% either, but it is not likely that is the cause of the mass. Just popped up out of the blue.

First snow ❄️ of the year here. 😖

Hope the medication does the trick. Always something with the critters it seems.
Gearing up for gun season here. Hoping for halfway decent weather next weekend. Bagged a fork horn last week. That makes 3 generations that bagged a buck during archery season here....it's a first time for that!
I need to clean out half the garage to make room for the tractor. Needs to be closer for snow clean up, instead of it's normal place in the pole shed. I have 0 organizing skills...I hate all the clutter. it's stressful.

Stay Safe... bigz

Mission accomplished. Closing in January. 🎉

I do not anticipate anything to hold up the sale or cause it to fall through. Let the packing begin!

@babylady4 Congrats on the house sale!

My sister and B-I-L just put in an offer on a house in a different city and it was accepted - contingent on them selling their current home, which is not even on the market yet.

Abscess drained! With some assistance from the vet, and our Boxer...... a bit of a mess but the majority of the mass is now gone and the Lab is feeling a lot better.

Checked my bees today and they are all DOA. 😕 I have never lost my hives prior to December before, so I was shocked they were already gone.

So I guess this weekend I will be harvesting honey..........

Wow.....

Well, I hope everything is ok with everyone, and you all had a great Thanksgiving and if you went hunting a successful hunt.

The DH bagged a decent buck; the discussion is if it is 9 or 10 points.....one tine was broken off. The youngest son bagged a forker buck, and the SIL managed a nice young doe.

Cleaned up the yard of all the decor.... slowly sinking in we will be leaving.

2022 will be the next great adventure.
